She understands the value of tools 6,7, & 8 - “heart”, “character”, and “work ethic”. Welcome to the green & gold of Atlanta Vipers Fastpitch Softball #44 Brynlee McBay. Brynlee is a sophomore at Morgan County HS where she plays 1B and DP for the 4th ranked Lady Bulldogs. Brynlee is currently hitting 0.333 with 3 doubles, 1 HR, and 10 RBIs through 9 games. Brynlee is player that understands the ins and outs of every aspect of the game and does a great job of encouraging all those around her. She also understands what it means to be a great teammate and will do the necessary work behind the scenes to squash negativity and to keep the main thing the main thing. Brynlee is a leader in her school for Fellowship of Christian Athletes and tries her best to live out Matthew 5:16. Our next baller returning to our roster and I go WAAAYYY back (see pic). She loves Dallis Goodnight and even reminds me of a younger version! Joining teammates: LHP/OF Jessica Jagar, SS/UTL Emma Gourley, 1B/3B Brinley McKelvey, RHP Reagan Peri, SS/OF Payton Yi, OF Madison Jones, C/1B Nicole Ekhoff, 3B/2B Ansley Harris, 2B/UTL Kaylee Weaver and C/LF Sam Porter is #16 Outfielder Chandler Aaron. Chan can hit leadoff and set the table or drop down and clear the table with an extra base hit. She has phenomenal range and a big time arm - covering tons of real estate whether she’s in CF or RF. In 73 chances, she only had 2 errors and added 8 outfield assists! She also hit 0.341 with 21 doubles, 2 HRs, 33 RBIs, and 51 Runs scored. With her strong track background, she’s a force on the bases with a team high 41 out of 43 stolen bases! Chandler is a super hard worker, a loyal friend, extremely humble, and has a smile that can light up a room. Hitting leadoff and roaming CF at Morgan County HS, she’s helped the team off to a hot start in AAA. Welcome back Chandler Aaron! Can’t wait to see you in Atlanta Vipers Fastpitch Softball green!

Just because we’ve been camping🏕️doesn’t mean we aren’t gonna keep the Roster Alerts rolling - Next up on the 2026-2027 roster joining teammates: LHP/OF Jessica Jagar, SS/UTL Emma Gourley, 1B/3B Brinley McKelvey, RHP Reagan Peri, SS/OF Payton Yi, OF Madison Jones, C/1B Nicole Ekhoff, 3B/2B Ansley Harris & 2B/UTL Kaylee Weaver is the most disciplined, strict, all business, workaholic, locked in 24/7 player that anyone would love to coach #8 Catcher/LF Sam Porter. Can’t believe our journey has only been one year thus far but can’t wait to see what Year #2 together has in store. Sam is a very coachable, “empty the tank” for the team, tough, yet highly intelligent rare breed of a player. She can do a lot of great things from the catcher position that doesn’t go unnoticed. Sam is a lefty/lefty combo with a beautiful swing, cat-like reflexes behind the dish, ++ arm (see 244 SBs to only 37 allowed), and a true baserunning threat (26 of 28 SBs). Next up on the 2026-2027 Atlanta Vipers roster joining teammates: LHP/OF Jessica Jagar, SS/UTL Emma Gourley, 1B/3B Brinley McKelvey, RHP Reagan Peri, SS/OF Payton Yi, OF Madison Jones, C/1B Nicole Ekhoff & 3B/2B Ansley Harris is a tough young lady that never backs down from a fight - probably because she hails from Pike County where they believe in hard work and making the most of what the good Lord has given you! Welcome back #21 Kaylee Weaver. Hitting in the 2 hole in the Alliance Fastpitch Open Nationals, Kaylee
hit 0.433 (13 for 30) with a team high 16 RBIs, 7 Sac Bunts, and 6 stolen bases. When Kaylee gets locked in, she is lights out defensively and a very tough out at the plate. Kaylee has great bat control, does a phenomenal job moving and driving in runners, and will do whatever it takes to win. Currently, Kaylee starts for Pike Co HS that holds an undefeated record and is ranked 3rd in the state. #21 Kaylee Weaver!!!

🐍🥎ROSTER ALERT🥎🐍Our 8th Player on the Atlanta Vipers Fastpitch Softball roster joining teammates: LHP/OF Jessica Jagar, SS/UTL Emma Gourley, 1B/3B Brinley McKelvey, RHP Reagan Peri, SS/OF Payton Yi, LF/RF Madison Jones, C/1B Nicole Ekhoff is a gritty, hard nosed kid that always rises to the occasion - #12 Ansley Harris. Ansley enters her junior year at Elbert County where she plays 3B and hits in the 2 hole. Ansley is a great teammate that works hard on every aspect of her game from footwork, arm strength, hitting to all fields, and smart baserunning. Her instincts on the field and knowledge of the game make her an extension of the coaching staff - not only knowing her role and job on every play, but also helping to place teammates in the right spots to be successful. Ansley is a super coachable player that has situational awareness not only on defense and offense, but also in terms of playing surface, weather, umpires, and other variables that many kids never think about. Ansley is a great kid that lets her light shine on and off the field. She will play 3B and 2B for us in addition to help warm up pitchers! Our #12 is more than willing to do anything necessary to not only help the team but also to help out any teammate! Not only does she play softball, she also helped the Elbert Co 🏀 team to a State Runner-Up finish last season. For the 7th Season together, Welcome Back #12 Ansley Harris.

🐍🥎ROSTER ALERT🥎🐍The Next Player on our roster joining #28 Jessica Jagar, #10 Emma Gourley, #32 Brinley McKelvey, #3 Reagan Peri, #00 Payton Yi, & #99!Madison Jones is a HUGE reason for our 53-20 record this year. We have always stolen lots of bases (218 out of 241 last year) - 244 out of 269 this year! While this has been great, we allowed too many SBs to opponents - then came catcher Nicole Ekhoff! Nic has a big time arm behind the plate that only allowed 18 out of 33 attempts for a 45.45% caught stealing rate. Let this sink in, 244 SBs compared to only 37 SBs in 73 games. So happy to have Nicole back! She is so intelligent on the field and uses her big brain to figure out pitchers, read pitches, and calling great games for our talented pitching staff. Hailing from the “Land of Lincoln”, Nicole plays high school ball at University HS in Normal, Illinois. Nicole has a great eye at the plate and does a great job receiving and blocking. She has ++ power which fits nicely in our cleanup spot. Can’t wait to build a new legacy with Atlanta Vipers Fastpitch Softball with you. Welcome back for another season , #34 C/1B - Nicole Ekhoff!
