🧡💙 Cross Country Senior Night 2026 💙🧡

So incredibly proud of our six seniors and thankful we were able to celebrate them tonight!

Ayden, Callie & Bri — I am so thankful for the years, miles, memories, and hard work you have given to this program. Watching you grow as runners and as people has been one of the best parts of coaching you. You have each left your mark on Branford Cross Country, and I’m not quite ready to think about this being our last season together. 🥹

Ethan, Sadie & Myranda — I’m so happy you decided to join our crew for your senior year! I’m looking forward to a great season with you and all the memories we still have left to make.

Six seniors. One last season. A whole lot of miles still ahead. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We kicked things off with the Buccaneer Mile — a little running, a lot of stairs, and a whole lot of work! 💪

Excited to see what this new group can accomplish this season. The work starts now!

Friday May 8 is the last day to purchase tickets to BESPYs, our annual athletic awards. The BESPYs honors all middle school, JV, and varsity athletes from all sports.

Tickets are $10 and all athletes and guests need one to attend. Anyone is welcome to come celebrate our Buccaneers!

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow! The LAST day to buy a ticket is May 8th. You can purchase your tickets from Coach Sikes in the front office. Tickets are $10 each. The doors will open at 6:30 and begin at 7:00.

Congratulations on being named to the Lake City Reporter All-Area Cross Country Team! She had a huge season and helped Branford qualify for state for the first time ever. Well deserved!

This group of girls right here has my whole heart. They put in the work, trusted the process, and made school history. For the first time ever, Branford qualified for STATE as an entire team — and they didn’t just show up… they placed 21st out of 32 of the best teams in Florida on their very first appearance.

Some of them have been running for me for years, while others are just starting their cross country journey. But every single one of them is a true student-athlete — keeping high grades, playing multiple sports, and still giving everything they have to this team.

I’m constantly in awe of their dedication, determination, grit, and heart. “Proud” doesn’t even begin to cover it. I hope they always know how much I love them and how much joy they bring me as their coach.

This season was special. These girls are special. And I’m beyond grateful to be a part of their story.
