What's happening Gun Folks! I know its July but now is the time to be thinking about getting your fi****ms looked at to make sure they are in working order! Dove season is right around the corner and deer season will be here before you know it. Business picks up in September so the earlier the better. Let me know if i can help you out. So not only do I offer a variety of repairs, I also teach individual armorer courses on the gun of your choice. Today, I taught a customer how to disassemble their Mossberg 590, give it a through cleaning, and how to reassemble it. Have a gun you would like to learn about and take apart? Springfield Model 87A- neat gun for sure. Customer found it in the rafters of his Dad's shop if I'm not mistaken. Had to replace the cartridge stop spring and it had a shell stuck in the feed tube. Got her running and ready to go. Do you have a gun just laying around that hasn't worked in years? Holler at me. I might can bring it back to life for you lol.

So tonight I got a chance to do some barrel fitting on a nice Kimber 1911. My dream is to build one one day so this was a fun project to work on. Give me a like and a share if you enjoy seeing projects!

There has been many a deer killed in Mississippi with a Re*****on 742. I'm not knocking them at all, but if you are wanting one used, it is best you check the rails on the inside of the reciever before purchasing. The metal in the reciever is soft and if you shoot hot loads in it with a worn out action spring, the bolt will begin digging itself into the rails and cause it to jam. Below you will see what it looks like. Buyer beware lol
