We've concluded our week in the Gospel of Matthew at ITA. It was an extremely rich and in-depth study. By the Lord's sovereign leading and providence on Good Friday we were in the passion narrative. The last supper was specifically examined as we looked at the significance of the cup(s) and bread. Our students and the local Italian churches they represent were challenged to ultimately "go and make disciples..." Thank you for your continued prayers and support. The ITA is being used of the Lord to lead forth a spiritual reformation in Italy. We are humbled and thankful...

A new day begins at ITA. By Thursday fatigue appears (in the prof. as well :). We had thus far a great study and discussion on the principle of litteral interpretation with implications on inspiration, inerrancy, and the authority of the Bible. All weariness in this sense is overecome when before the power and depth of God's Word.

We are focusing on the general principles of Bible interpretation today. Many pastoral questions/discussions come up almost to the point of it becoming a "pastoral ministries class". There is such a great need for biblical instruction...

We ask for your prayers as many Italian believers gather in Perugia from the 10th to the 14th of October. The Italian Theological Academy shares it's heart about training men in Italy. A unique ministry that represents an important continuity with the FOCUS Conference. In all we are reaching Italy with a four-pronged approach: a training academy; annual pastors conference; publishing sound theological books, and establishing model churches to disseminate God's truth and sound theology at the local church level.
