Look for Black Crappie tags!

Our freshwater fisheries biologists and managers with FWC’s Division of Freshwater Fisheries Management (DFFM) are working on a collaborative research study on Black Crappie at Lake Talquin (Gadsden and Leon counties). The tagging study is currently underway to better understand catch and harvest on this outstanding fishery. Tagging studies like these allow our freshwater anglers to directly participate in the research focusing on some of their favorite sportfish.
