BobbyB's Tennis Group consists of members & non-members of The Tennis Center located at 3111 S Congress Ave., Boynton Beach, Fl., 33436. The center is operated by the City of Boynton Beach and consists of mainly Har-Tru similated clay courts. Our group began more than 15 years ago & was originally coordinated by Lou Awamy. Lou continues to be a major part of the group but handed over the reigns to

Bobby Borden, who started scheduling the group approximately 8 years ago. We are on the courts 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am until 12pm and beyond. The center allows us 4 courts year round and during the winter months, we have rotated as many as 32 players, some for 1 1/2 hours, some for 2 hours, by 12 o'clock. We accept male and female members of all skill levels.

My friend. A fellow tennis nut. When he played tennis, everyone at the tennis center knew he was there. They could hear his exasperation when the point didn't quite go his way. "Not today! No way! That shot works for you but not for me!" I loved his enthusiasm for the game. Top level in the men's Monday night league. Top level in my group. And a top level friend. Our tennis group will miss you for a long, long time. Christopher "Trent" Ward...Rest in peace, my friend.
