Cruisin' for NHS Archery

What a busy day yesterday! We were asked if our Northwood archers could come out to Cotile Spring Fest and run the kids zone. Our high schoolers did an amazing job making sure everyone was safe. They even helped set up and take down tables, chairs, and tents by the band. The team also ran a cotton candy booth. Boy was that a learning curve. Super proud of them.

What’s next for the team???

Our high school students are volunteering at the Cotile Fest. They will be helping run the kids zone and making sure everyone stays safe.

We also have a few kids that will be selling cotton candy and merch at a booth.

Northwood Archery hosted a tournament Friday night so that those teams heading to Nationals in a few weeks would have another tournament before they left.

Our archers rivaled the competition. In our world, top 3 is the best but top 10 is great as well.

We had the following placements:
In elementary girls, we had a 10th place finisher.
In elementary boys, we had a 2nd place and an 8th place finisher.
In middle school girls, we had 5th, 9th, and 10th place finishers.
In high school boys, we had a 7th place finisher.
In high school girls, we had a 5th and 10th place finisher.

Congrats to all our archers placing in the top 10.

We have some shooters that have decided they are taking the remainder of the year off so this is great placements being it’s not the whole team.

Come out to Camp Po***ck for another great event. This event supports the church camp that attends Camp Po***ck. Steve Cape is an amazing announcer and runs 2 great car shows. This one’s local.
