đź’Ł BOMB SQUAD ALERT đź’Ł

This one was special.

If you’ve watched Ava Pulley over the last year, you’ve seen the work. The extra swings. The determination. The countless hours spent getting stronger and building confidence in herself.

This weekend, all that hard work paid off in a BIG way.

Most weekends we’re playing on 200-foot fences, but this tournament featured a 220-foot center field fence. That’s a different animal.

In her first at-bat that really got ahold of one, Ava absolutely smoked a ball that landed about 5 feet short of clearing the fence. Everyone knew she was close.

Ava launched an absolute bomb over the center field fence and left no question whether it was gone. A true no-doubter. The kind of home run that players dream about and fans never forget.

What makes this moment even better is knowing how much work went into it. Success like that doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from dedication, belief, and refusing to quit when things get tough.

Her confidence was through the roof all weekend, and it showed every time she stepped into the batter’s box.

We couldn’t be more proud of you, Ava. Keep trusting your work, keep believing in yourself, and keep swinging it like that.

Something tells us this won’t be the last 💣 we see from #9!

Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts came to play this weekend and left as the USFA 12U Open Gold Bracket Division Champions! 💪🥎

The day didn’t start the way we wanted. In the very first inning of pool play, we came out flat and made multiple errors that led to 4 runs crossing the plate. But champions aren’t defined by how they start—they’re defined by how they respond.

And respond they did.

From that moment on, these girls flipped a switch and got stronger every single inning. They battled. They competed. They picked each other up. Most importantly, they never quit.

đź’Ł Ava Pulley launched an absolute NO-DOUBTER over the center field fence for a monster home run! 220 foot fence!!!

🔥 Ivy Giovengo was nearly unstoppable at the plate, finishing with an incredible .818 batting average. Shelby Kerr stayed hot all weekend, batting .750 and providing a huge spark for the offense as well!

The bats were loud, the pitching was dominant, and the defense settled in when it mattered most. This group showed exactly what resilience, toughness, and team-first softball looks like.

We couldn’t be more proud of these young ladies. The work they’re putting in behind the scenes is showing up when the lights come on.

Today we celebrate one of our very own athletes in black and white!!

Kambree is the type of athlete every coach loves to have. Whether she’s behind the plate as a catcher or tracking down balls in the outfield, she shows up ready to work. What makes her special isn’t just what she does on game day—it’s what she does when nobody is watching.

She puts in the extra work. She spends countless hours improving her game. She takes coaching, stays dedicated, and never stops trying to get better. That kind of commitment can’t be taught.

But beyond the athlete, Kambree has a heart of gold. She’s a great teammate, a great friend, and someone who genuinely cares about the people around her. Her character shines just as bright as her talent.

We are proud to have you wearing the Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts jersey and even more proud of the young lady you’re becoming.

The response to our tryouts has been incredible, and our roster is nearly completed for next season.

We are now looking for ONE final athlete to join Athletics Mercado 2032-Felts for the FALL 2026-27 season. Start date of Aug 1st!

We’re not looking for average.

We’re looking for the athlete who wants the ball when the game is on the line. The one who takes command behind the plate, competes every pitch, and refuses to be outworked. A catcher with toughness, leadership, and grit. A catcher that can step into the outfield and covers ground, communicates, and changes games while not behind the plate.

Distance isn’t an issue if you’re the right fit.

As we enter our second year at 12U, we’re building a team that will compete, develop, and continue raising the standard every single weekend!

Two chances to sharpen the blade.

Then it’s time to load up and head south to Panama City Beach, Florida for the World Series.

This group has spent all season putting in the work when nobody was watching. Early mornings. Late nights. Extra reps. Extra swings. Extra effort. Now it’s time to keep building momentum.

This weekend we head to Beaver Dam with one goal: compete at the highest level every single pitch.

🖤🥎River City Rumble 12U Gold Bracket Recap🥎🖤

This weekend wasn’t perfect, but growth never is.

These girls battled through six tough games, finishing 4-2 against some strong competition and proving once again that they belong in an amazing organization. Every inning, every at-bat, every pitch was another opportunity to learn, compete, and get better.

What makes this group special isn’t just the wins. It’s the way they show up for each other. The way they continue to put in the work when nobody is watching.

Keep your heads up and keep grinding, girls. The season is a marathon, not a sprint, and every tournament is another step toward becoming the team we know we can be.

Proud of the effort. Proud of the growth. Proud to wear Athletics Mercado across our chest.
