We are so proud of for competing at the 2026 Masters National Championships in Salt Lake City, UT. John competed in the m40 79kg class and ended the day with a 92kg sn**ch and a 132kg clean and jerk.

Huge shoutout to Vern for absolutely crushing it at the USA Masters National Championships in Little Rock!

He’s bringing home some serious hardware: Gold in the Sn**ch, Silver in the Clean & Jerk, and Silver in the Total!

Vern went an incredible 5 for 6 on the platform, battling it out and missing the overall gold by just 1kg. The best part? He hit a 106kg total, 1kg higher than his last meet in Louisville, AND he did it while dropping down to a lighter weight class!
