Ultimately, today just wasn’t our day. We came up one run short and one game shy of playing in the championship game but this team has so much to be proud of!

These girls continue to make a statement every time they step on the field. They’ve consistently played up against older, more experienced teams and have shown that they have the grit, and heart to compete with anyone. Including a win in pool play against the eventual tournament champions today!

We can now officially say we’re a 6U team, while many of the teams we’ve played are moving into 7U. Our girls have already proven they can compete at that level and we’re excited to see where they stand as more teams begin to form in our own age group.

Proud of these girls and the way they continue to battle, grow, and represent the 🙌.

First tournament in the books and what a day it was! We couldn’t be more proud of these girls. They finished as tournament finalists, going 2-2 on the day, three of their four games coming against teams a year older and our only losses coming from the tournament champions 💪

They more than held their own from start to finish even carrying the lead late in the championship game. Defensively, they put together an outstanding performance recording four fly ball outs, turning two double plays (1-3-2 and a double play on a tag up attempt at home) making plays at first from shortstop, pitcher, and second base, and throwing a runner out at third from the pitcher’s circle.

There were so many great moments throughout the day along with plenty of learning opportunities and areas we know we can continue to improve. We left knowing this team’s potential is incredibly high. Excited for what’s ahead for this group. Proud is an understatement! 🙌💜🧡

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible UNITY Softball moms!

Thank 🙌🏼 for the early mornings, the late nights, the road trips, the sacrifices, the words of encouragement, the uniform washes, the snacks, the bandaids, the hotel reservations, driving to lessons, the organized team dinners, and for your toughness and unconditional love.

Your support, strength, commitment, and love help shape not only better softball players, but better young women.

Today we celebrate YOU and everything you do behind the scenes. We are grateful for the impact you make on this program and in the lives of your daughters by blood AND your daughters by choice!

This will be a 6U team with a strong emphasis on learning the fundamentals, developing skills, and playing the game the right way. At this age, our focus isn’t on winning at all costs—it’s about building confidence, teaching the game, and helping these girls grow.

We plan to play a limited number of events, with the majority of our time spent in practice and development. We want to be intentional about not overdoing it early, while still creating an opportunity for a group of girls to come together and grow in the game for the future.

If you have a daughter who loves softball and is looking for a slightly more competitive environment while still keeping things fun and age-appropriate, we’d love to connect.
