Maryland becomes the 19th state to recognize girls flag football as a championship sport. The inaugural season begins fall 2026 with state title games at M&T Bank Stadium.

The 2026 season kicks off April 25. Baltimore Nighthawks vs Richmond Black Widows. Gates will open at 3:15 pm. Kickoff at 4 pm. Tickets are on sale now. Kids 10 and under free with paid adult.
