There hasn’t been much overlap with my past (which I didn’t want to confront or claim), who I am now (so many flaws!), and who I want to be (someone much more capable, please). I’m starting to realize that integrating these three versions/visions of myself is essential for growth. Here’s to taking a moment to celebrate how far you’ve come, and how far you’ll go. 🥂

السنة دي كملت رحلة عزيزة جدًا على قلبي من يوم ما بدأتها، محطة جديدة في رحلة دراسة طرق مختلفة للتعافي عن طريق الجسد والحركة، بعد رحلة اليوجا إللي مازالت مستمرة، وهي دراسة الـ Somatic Experiencing أو الخبرة الجسدية.
هي طريقة لدعم التعافي من الصدمات والأعراض المصاحبة ليها بالإعتماد على الجسد والتعامل بشكل مباشر مع الأعراض إللي خلفها أثر الصدمة على الجهاز العصبي.

‎كان من حسن حظي إني أكون مع أول دفعة تتخرج في مصر، وبقيت بشكل رسمي Somatic Experiencing Practitioners أو ممارس للخبرة الجسدية بعد دراسة استمرت لمدة ٤ سنين- زادت سنة بسبب ظروف الكورونا- قدمها مجموعة من المدرسين والمتخصصين من بلاد مختلفة كرسوا من وقتهم ومجهودهم عشان يتوفر لنا العلم ده في مكان من العالم بأشد الاحتياج له. خرجت منهم بمعلمين ومرشدين أثروا فيا بشكل شخصي قبل العلمي والعملي. وكنت مع مجموعة من الأطباء والمعالجين والعاملين مع الجسد بالطرق العلاجية المختلفة، كانو أفضل صحبة ودعم في خلال الرحلة دي، وخرجت منهم بأصحاب وحبايب كتير.

أنا مش عارفة ألاقي كلام مناسب يوفي الرحلة دي حقها ولا يوصف أنا حاسة بأيه وممتنة لمين على إيه ولا إيه. بس أنا لسة بهضم التجربة وهفضل كدة كتير قوي خاصة مع إستمرارها، استمرارنا كممارسين في الدراسة والقراءة والتعلم ومقابلة مدرسينا في جلسات إشراف عشان نفهم اكتر، واستمرارنا في المشاركة كمساعدين في تدريبات القادمة.
‎وزي ماقال أستاذنا بيدرو برادو إللي درسنا المستوى المتقدم "دي مش النهاية … دي نهاية البداية" لسة المحطات الجاية كتير.

Setting your boundaries is not “unkindness” 💡
