The 2026 Tour Divide officially rolled out this morning from Banff, Alberta, sending 231 riders off the start line on one of the longest and most demanding ultra-endurance bikepacking events in the world.

This year’s field includes one current Fort Collins rider and two Fort Collins expatriates.

Last night's Satdium Criterium Series results and current omnium standings are up on YGR.
Yeonsu Kim topped the Juniors (8-14) field, Korynne Collins claimed the Women's race, Christian Kadletz took the win in the C's, Joe Zukowski in the B's, and Gavin Mannion won the A's race.

Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming riders will soon have another mountain bike destination within easy driving distance.

According to Dustin Humphreys, Project Manager for the City of Cheyenne, the new Belvoir Ranch trail system will officially open on July 1st. The initial phase includes 12.8 miles of purpose-built singletrack constructed by Todd Thibodeau and TPT Trails. Head over to YGR for the specifics.

Attention Parents! Registration for SendTown Bike Club’s Ciclismo High School Mountain Bike Program closes June 15th.

Whether your student is an experienced racer, brand new to mountain biking, or simply looking for a fun way to ride with friends, Ciclismo welcomes riders of all ability levels. Racing is optional, and athletes can participate in practices only if they prefer.

The season begins August 8th and runs through October 25th, with practices held three days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. No one is cut from the team, and every rider gets equal opportunities to develop skills, ride trails, and be part of a supportive cycling community. Hit YGR for more info.

Howling Cow Cafe opened on July 1, 2014, adjacent to Morning Fresh Dairy Farm headquarters, almost exactly one year after the Bellvue Bean closed. That gap was felt by cyclists who relied on a mid ride coffee stop while riding the Dairy Loop. Lori and Robert Graves, owners of Morning Fresh Dairy, stepped in to fill that void and then some. Howling Cow offers a comfortable patio with foothill views, great coffee, Ummber’s Ice Cream, Noosa Yoghurt, baked goods, and a variety of snacks. It serves cyclists passing through, employees from Morning Fresh, Noosa, and Ummber’s, local residents, and travelers along Highway 287. Not long after opening, Lori Graves, an avid mountain biker, partnered with YGR as an advertiser, supporting the local cycling scene through both Howling Cow Cafe and Morning Fresh Dairy. Nicholas Sierra, the man accused of killing Luis Loma in a hit-and-run crash on October 7, 2021, had a bond hearing on June 4th. He is scheduled for a deposition hearing on July 16th.
The hearing is set for 10:00 AM at the Larimer County Courthouse. Courtroom 3A.

"Birthday suits are not a costume"
Did you see FoCo Fondo has added a costume relay to the Saturday lineup? Yep, 2-4 per people per team. Preliminary heats with single-elimination to advance to the championship final. Each race is 4 laps, and each lap is a half-mile. Prizes provided by the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. Head over to YGR for full deets.
