How is it possible that MAGA has got large numbers of people not only believing their nonsense but angrily working to force their views on everyone?
The fact is that a hidden and insidious and little-known cabal is at work. After using sophisticated techniques to identify those most likely to succumb, they then use equally sophisticated techniques
to get them to believe in BS and outright lies. They they get the recruits to their cult to deeply believe in economic nationalism, hostility toward immigrants, the elimination of the role of
government in ensuring fairness and justice, jingoism disguised as patriotism, โdraining the swampโ, i.e. eliminating government officials who stand in the way of their aggregation of power to
themselves, claiming that any information that differs from their message a lie, fascism disguised as law and order, and a judiciary that is beholden to their own views rather than due process and
the Constitution andโฆ well, you get the picture. Itโs an agenda thatโs calculated to destroy America.

And thatโs the cabalโs real objective. They donโt care about conservative ideology or politics. They only care about obeying the orders of their client, and that client has set out to destroy America.
Iโm not going overboard in using the word โcalculated.โ This is not just an accidental byproduct of a rampage of a bunch of right wing loonies lacking any moral compass. The whole agenda of the cabal,
orchestrating the beliefs and convictions of millions, manipulating perceptions via remote control, is to cause the destruction of America. Itโs all very deliberate, all very sophisticated, all calculated to destroy America.
Not only do they get their zombie followers to believe that stuff; this hidden gang gets them to be positively angry at anyone who doesnโt buy into their agenda. Sometimes theyโll provoke their targeted true believers to get physically destructive, as we have all seen.

Some have the mistaken impression that these far right groups just spring up naturally among people who share a distorted view of how the world works. That may be the case with those in the less
extreme right, but weโre talking not talking about them; weโre talking about the far right cult members.
The whole effort is orchestrated by a sinister gang that knows how to keep itself out of view. This surprisingly small group uses a very sophisticated psychological tool set to get them to not only
believe every weird word of their sick agenda, but also to reject any evidence that contradicts what their masters have told them. Indeed, they effectively make it a rule of membership not to listen to anything coming from outside the cult.

First, they hire a professional bot farmer. The bot farmer uses a set of software tools from China and other countries to facilitate the creation of social media accounts for hundreds of fake people.
They use these armies of fake people to quickly spread a series of social media messages, memes, posts and articles, all providing variations of a message, letโs say stories about attacks by
immigrant gangs at the southern U.S. border. In a day or so it becomes the talk of the internet, a viral tsunami of outrage. Note that it makes no difference if the story is true; in fact stories that are
mostly false with just a grain of truth are best, because the bot farmer wants people who are not particularly skeptical and who have an innate desire to believe.
Then, working with the social media platforms and their Chinese botnet farming software, they track the millions of people who have seen and responded to the barrage of messages. More
importantly, they track the responses of those who have seen the messages, memes, posts and articles. Did they click โlikeโ or did they repost the material on their own timeline? Did they
subscribe?
With that database of responses in hand, the botnet farmer takes over, making those fake people engage in automated conversations with those who responded the way the botnet client wants them to. Lately, itโs an AI that they find themselves talking to.

This video from an experienced bot farmer will explain how that works. Those who are most responsive to the theme are brought into echo chambers, where they reinforce each otherโs shrillness about the issue at hand. The echo chambers quickly evolve into
cults. The cults then become very profitable by selling ad space to vendors of ridiculously overpriced diet supplements, investment advice, and other super-high-margin products. Because
those products appear in a trusted โinsiderโ space, members trust that the vendors of the products are also insiders and therefore their claims are trusted.
Again, itโs important to know that the cabal behind the MAGA cult does not have any particular political or ideological beliefs itself. It just wants to cause trouble. Acting on orders from its client, it
simply wants to find ways to destroy America by starting dozens of civil wars between opposing ideological, political, and other groups . And they do that by first finding issues that touch an
emotional button, then crafting messages that intensify the emotional reaction. Then they use the bot farming tools to identify and recruit those most likely to not only react individually but join others in their echo chambers and cults.

Besides getting the cult members to ignore all outside sources of information, the cabal uses a specific set of techniques that we call โgoebbelsologyโ:
โข Avoid abstract ideas - appeal to the emotions;
โข Constantly repeat just a few ideas. Use stereotyped phrases;
โข Give only one side of the argument;
โข Continuously criticize your opponents;
โข Pick out one special โenemyโ for special vilification;
โข Follow the famous agitator Saul Alinskyโs instruction: "Accuse your opponent of what you are doing, to create confusion and to inculcate voters against evidence of your own guilt."

In the case of the cabalโs agenda with the MAGAs, their goal is to fan the flames of political strife, creating echo chambers and cults to fight with each other. But the cabal doesnโt restrict itself to
political strife; any source of strife between any two opposing groups can be amplified into a shouting war. Any set of beliefs may do โ it doesnโt have to be ideological and political at all.
They look for any small divisions between what different groups perceive and create powerful psychological wedges wherever they find those divisions.

So, for instance, the goebbelsologists found such a promising division of beliefs around the work of scientists. While some parts of a population are so in awe of the word โscienceโ that theyโre
predisposed to overlook the multitude of corrupt grant-funded studies whose results never get peer-reviewed, others are not so willing to overlook the way that corruption has crept into scientific
examination. Often the funder of a study makes it clear just what results they expect for their money, dangling funding for a โsecond phaseโ of the study if the first phase is โfruitfulโ โ i.e. if it
produces results that the funder can use to prove their point with regulators, doctors, and customers .
Of course, scientific integrity varies and is more or less on a spectrum; one shouldnโt make snap judgments on scientific studies without objectively looking at the evidence. But letโs face it, who has time to do that? The consequence is that we have the making of another source of division: those who believe that science delivers a steady stream of reliable facts, and those who are skeptical of science in general. Again, any source of division will do, political or otherwise.
The opportunity here is a real challenge: to find a specific issue that will set the doubters of science against those who believe that scientists can do no wrong.

The answer presented itself when the book The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century by Thomas L. Friedman made it to the best seller lists. Friedman didnโt mean for his title to
be taken literally, but that matters not. Just a science skepticโs sighting of the title on a friendโs bookshelf served as the catalyst for the cabalโs latest mini civil war.
The Earth Is Flat! No Itโs Not! - itโs yet another productive battleground for the troll cabal and its client in their effort to get Americans to distrust each other.

Naturally, the MAGAs will tell us that weโre the ones in a cult, because thatโs what theyโve been trained to believe. Itโs like Russia telling its people that N***s have infested Ukraine, to provoke an
emotional reaction and motivate their troops to go to war with passion to root out those N***s!
Because the techniques of the troll cabal are so sophisticated, show the Right that theyโre the ones who are cult-ified. Watch and listen to their media so that when you rebut their droning mantras in
social media youโll show that, contrary to what theyโve been told, we arenโt the ones who have been brainwashed. They are. After all, if youโve been told that your cult has told you to ignore their
media and then they see that you have in fact not ignored their media, that will serve to take the wind out of their sails.

This Novemberโs election is going to be close. We need to win over as many people as possible, and that means showing those undecided voters that joining our side makes sense. Part of that is
showing them that the other side is wrong, that we are not a cult.
Letโs show that we ask the important questions: is anyone trying to tell me that only one source of information is to be trusted? Is there someone who is repeating the same claim over and over and
over, using the goebbelsology technique that uses repetition to turn a lie into โtruthโ? Is that source of messages accusing some other person or group of things that they themselves are guilty of?
Remember, these people have been told that weโre a cult. For that
reason they will not listen to us unless we show them that we are not a cult.
