Here are a few things you can do this week to feel more confident in yourself and your professional readiness:

👉 Complete or update your profile in the Sports Med Credentialing Center (SMCC). Having your certifications and CEUs organized in one place puts you ahead of the conversation before it starts.

👉 Brush up on leadership and soft skills. Platforms like MedBridge or The Business ATvantage Podcast are great starting points.

👉 Review your documentation habits. Tight documentation protects you and reflects the standard of care you hold yourself to.

👉 Know your market value. You can't advocate for fair pay if you don't know what fair looks like.

A lot of ATs stay in roles that aren't working because they don't know what a role that works actually looks like.

They assume the exhaustion is normal.
That the lack of support is just part of the profession.
That sustainability is something that happens for other people in other settings.

It's not.

A supportive environment exists, but you have to know what to look for to find it.
