You’re not too old, you’re not too busy and its not your genetics
You just have to slow down, start small and embrace consistency
Stop being in a rush to get fit. Health isn’t a race
The goal is to be consistency
When we try to overhaul of lives, in an effort to get healthy
We’re setting ourselves up for failure
Too much change, too fast, leads to burnout
I get it, I’ve been there
In my early 20’s I drank heavily, ate like crap and exercised sparingly
I jumped from fad diets to intense workouts, hoping for quick results
Every time, I’d quit after a week. It was too overwhelming
After many failed attempts
I realized my problem:
I was prioritizing speed over consistency
I wanted to change, but I was going about it all wrong.
When I slowed down and focused on small, sustainable changes
Everything shifted
I could stick with it, and that gave me confidence
Small wins turned into bigger successes
And I ended up achieving more than I ever thought possible
The key? Small, manageable changes and consistency
If you're struggling with your health goals
Try this: Start with a small manageable change
Track your progress daily
Once you hit 7 days in a row
Add another small manageable change
It’s not about doing everything at once
It’s about sticking with it for the long run
Overhauling your life might feel productive
But if you quit after a month, what’s the point?
