Bruiniacs The Boston Bruins are a professional Hockey team. The Team colors are black and gold and their mascot is a bear.

They play their home games in the TD Garden located in downtown Boston Mass. The Providence Bruins are the minor league team to the Boston Bruins Organization and they play their games in the Dunkin Dounuts Center located in downtown Providence RI.

General information

The Boston Bruins entered the NHL on November 1st, 1924. Charled Francis Adams from Vermont paid the NHL $15,000 to have the privilege of owning a team. The Boston Bruins became the first American Based team in the NHL It only took them about 4 seasons to win their first of 5 stanly cups. In the early 40s the Bruins were on the verge of building a dynasty but that fell apart when WWII started and the bruins would not win another stanly cup until just about 30 years later. They are long over due for theiir next stanly cup victory for their last won was in 1972.
