An opportunity for those on the east side of the trail. The Missouri River Irish Fest is going on now through Sunday at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse just off the Katy trailhead. Join for drinks, food, beverages, and family fun!

It's Ped Jam Eve! This weekend hundreds of bikers will be traversing Katy Trail MO from Columbia to Boonville. Along the route are live bands, drinks, eats, and overall great vibes.

Musicians on the route include:

Do you or your friends still need tickets? There will be tickets available for all types. You can still purchase them at the start of the event at Flat Branch Park (7:30 am - 9 am) for the weekend ride. Trailside passes will be available at McBaine and Rocheport during the ride. Saturday night tickets for Kemper Park will be available on-site after 4 pm. Walk ups welcome to join the party!

World famous competitive eaters Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos on the Katy today. Looking good!

Well done to Katina Eats Kilos!! She went on her longest bike ride ever today, 26 miles!! We started at the Greens Bottom Road Trailhead and rode the Katy Trail to Defiance, Missouri for a pretzel snack at Good News Brewing Company, and then we headed the 13 miles back!! We thankfully had great weather and it was nice to ride on the Katy Trail again!! We head back home to Nashville tomorrow and I need to figure out where my first outdoor ride will be that’s closer to where we live now. Any Nashville area cycling route suggestions, please let me know and thanks in advance!!
