Workout Routine
1. Squats (3 sets of 8-12 reps)Focus on depth and form, ensuring your thighs are parallel to the ground or lower.
2. Deadlifts (3 sets of 8-12 reps)Choose either conventional or Romanian deadlifts to target the hamstrings and glutes.
3. Bulgarian Split Squats (3 sets of 10-12 reps per leg)This single-leg exercise helps in targeting the glutes and quads.
4. Hip Thrusts (3 sets of 12-15 reps)Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement for maximum activation.
5. Leg Press (3 sets of 10-12 reps)Position your feet high on the platform to engage more of the glutes and hamstrings.
6. Lunges (3 sets of 12-15 reps per leg)Walking lunges or stationary lunges, focusing on depth and form.
7. Glute Kickbacks (3 sets of 15 reps per leg)Use a cable machine or resistance bands for added tension.
Finishing Moves 8. Leg Curls (1 sets of 50-100 reps)This isolation exercise targets the hamstrings.

Understanding Your Natural Weight RangeWhen it comes to fitness, one often overlooked aspect is that everyone has natural limits to their weight gain and loss. These limits are influenced by several factors, including genetics, metabolism, and lifestyle. Here’s why recognizing and respecting these limits is essential for a healthy approach to fitness.
1. Genetics and Body Type Your body type, determined by genetics, plays a significant role in your weight range. Whether you are an ectomorph (naturally thin), mesomorph (muscular and well-built), or endomorph (heavier build), understanding your body type can help set realistic fitness goals.
2. Metabolic Set Point Your body has a natural weight range, often referred to as a “set point,” which it strives to maintain. This set point is regulated by your metabolism, which adjusts hunger, energy expenditure, and other processes to resist changes outside of this range.
3. Muscle vs. Fat Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. If you’re focusing on strength training, you might find your weight increasing due to muscle gain, even as you lose fat. This is why body composition is more important than the number on the scale.
4. Nutrition and Activity Level A balanced diet and regular exercise are key to achieving and maintaining your weight within your natural limits. Tailoring your nutrition and workouts to your specific goals can help you get the best results without straying too far from your body’s natural tendencies.
5. Hormonal Factors Hormones such as thyroid hormones, insulin, and cortisol play significant roles in weight management. Any imbalances can affect your ability to gain or lose weight, so it’s crucial to consider these factors in your fitness journey.
6. Age As you age, your metabolism slows down, making it harder to lose weight and easier to gain it. Adjusting your diet and exercise routine as you get older can help manage these changes.
Personal Example For me, I’ve found that my natural weight range is between 170 lbs and 205 lbs. Despite various efforts, these are the limits within which my body comfortably operates. Understanding and accepting this range has helped me set more achievable fitness goals and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Conclusion Recognizing and respecting your natural weight range can lead to more sustainable and healthy fitness practices. Instead of striving for unrealistic goals, focus on what your body can naturally achieve and maintain. Embrace your unique body and work within its limits for a healthier, happier you
