The Boone Boys Basketball Club summer registration is still open on our website:
https://www.therestofitmatters.com/

You can visit the website to register your son and see the summer basketball opportunities. When you register on-line it will give you the option to pay on-line, by check or apply for a scholarship. If you are paying online, after you register, you will need to click on the pay on-line drop down menu and select what you are paying for.

If you are wanting to pay by check you can still register on the website. You can then just send a check with your son on the first day of whatever activities he signed up for. Also attached is a printable registration form if you are not able to to register on-line. We do encourage you to register on-line if possible.

Note: All grades listed are for the incoming grade level. Example: 7th grade is for an INCOMING 7th grader.

Note: The Little Toreador Boys Basketball Camp for any incoming 2nd-4th grader is coming up next week June 15th-17th from 11:30-1:00 pm @ the high school.

High School Hoops: Week of June 8th:

Monday, June 8th: Practice/Skill Development @ HIGH SCHOOL from 1:30-3:15 pm (extra shooting for 30 minutes after for anyone that wants it).

Tuesday, June 9th: Practice/Skill Development @ HIGH SCHOOL from 1:30-3:15 pm (extra shooting for 30 minutes after for anyone that wants it).

Thursday, June 11th: Shooting Workout @ MIDDLE SCHOOL from 9:30-11 am

Friday, June 12th: Shooting Workout @ LEDGES ELEMENTARY from 8:30-10:00 am.

This year the Boone Basketball Club was looking to grow the travel ball side for the boys in our youth program. The club really wanted to target players that were looking to grow in a more competitive atmosphere. We still offered our normal 3rd-6th grade rec season from October-January. But for the first time, the Boone Basketball Club held tryouts for 3rd-8th grade travel teams. Each grade level had one team and there were 10 players selected to play on each team.

We started practicing in the middle of October and they played and practiced through the end of February. All the groups practiced twice as much as they played. Every team played a lot of basketball and we saw tremendous growth from all the teams.

Thanks to all the coaches: Jaclyn Tungesvik, Gabe Peasley, Josh Schnuelle, Alex Sturtz, Mark Hueton, Jesse Klatt, Cory Thilges, Brad Winter and Jeremy Pritchard who put in a ton of time to help develop and grow the players and teams.

We are extremely excited about this side of the Boone Basketball Club moving forward and getting the youth playing competitive basketball at a young age.

Thanks to these four seniors for being a part of the program. It's been a fun ride. Thankful for all they have done for the program and the lessons they have taught the young guys in the program.

Landon Myers-thanks for teaching the young guys how to take hard coaching, how to keep showing up and working even when you don't get immediate results or playing time and to always do it with a positive attitude. Not sure I have seen a transformation from a player's freshman year to their senior year. A testament to hard work.

Hendrix Moorman-thanks for teaching the young guys what it looks like to work your tail off and to maximize your athletic ability, how to take hard coaching, to have a care level that is through the roof when it comes playing varsity sports, to always make it about the team/program and to buy into the "unseen work."

Jude Baumgardner-thanks for teaching the young guys to not give up on a season. Thanks for working to come back from an injury to play this season when you could have easily just not played. Thanks for a fun four years as a varsity starter. It was fun watching you improve as a basketball player but more importantly grow as a young man.

Trystyn Hellar- thanks for teaching the young guys what it looks like to be a senior who doesn't get to play. There are not a lot of players today that would stick around their senior year if they weren't playing. Great lesson for players in the program that they can still be valuable to the team even if not playing.

Best of luck in all you do. And remember you are always a part of the the program.
