Come dance at the High Country Fling. It’s a late start, so make a day trip out of it. There are many fun things to do in downtown Boone just steps away from the competition which is in the student union of Appalachian State University! Walk around campus, stroll and do some shopping, get candy from the barrels at the old-fashioned Mast General Store, and relax with a drink with views at the rooftop bar downtown! Drive a few minutes to scenic hiking trails.
