Do you have any special soon-to-be or new mamas in your life? Pregnancy is hard, postpartum is hard, and so often in these stages of life all anyone thinks about is the baby. We forget about the mama, but the mama deserves all the love, care and support that baby gets too! So if you have a friend that’s pregnant or is a new mom remember to show them some love! Life gets busy or chaotic and staying present in the moment can be hard to do. As someone who battles with anxiety my mind is always trying to live in the days ahead. This tote is our reminder that being present is better then being perfect. ⁣⁣

⁣Ashley here. 💁🏽‍♀️ Today I wanted to share a little update. ⁣
⁣
Did you know I used to screen print 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘭𝘭𝘭 the A+E tote bags myself? (Even when I was 9 months pregnant!...yep I printed 500 tote bags two weeks before giving birth. 🤣) Did you know that now I don’t print all the A+E totes myself?? 🙊⁣

In the beginning of 2020 we partnered with an AMAZING Seattle based non-profit called Sanctuary Arts and they are doing about 75% of my screen printing now. ⁣
⁣
Sanctuary Arts offers job training and internship programs for homeless and street involved youth. Their mission to help and inspire youth who are in tough situations touches close to my heart. As a “maker” it has been hard to let go of having my hands involved in the printing of every tote bag but this partnership has made it easier. I have a new inspiration for selling A+E totes because now the more totes I sell the more I can continue to support what Sanctuary Arts is doing for the youth in our community. ⁣
