Bonners Ferry Varsity soccer is in full swing, and the Badgers are off to a strong start. Sitting at 3‑1‑1 overall and 3‑1 in conference play, they’re making their presence known on the field. Monday night, the Badgers delivered a commanding performance, putting an 8‑0 smackdown on the 0‑3 Priest River Spartans.
On August 22, the Badgers traveled to Coeur d’Alene for a tight matchup against the Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy Panthers. Despite a hard‑fought effort, the Badgers ultimately fell 0‑1 to the defending 2025 state champions. Head Coach Matt Solis had a few thoughts to share afterward — noting that while the loss stung, it was far from a step backward. In many ways, the game offered valuable insight and showed just how competitive this Badger squad truly is.
