If you train at Studio 33, you already know — Rahsaan is one of those guys who makes the room better just by showing up. 👊

And showing up is exactly what he does.

Week after week. Class after class. Consistent. Ready to train. Ready to lead. Ready to help. 💪

But what makes Rahsaan stand out goes way beyond his own training. He gives back to the next generation by helping with our kids classes and stepping up to coach our young competitors at tournaments. 🥋🏆

He’s also a huge part of what makes the Studio 33 culture what it is.

Rahsaan is the kind of teammate who will call you out when he knows you can do better 😂 — but always in that loving, playful, brotherly way that says, “Come on, bro. I know what you’re capable of.” 🤝

That’s leadership.

Not just being the loudest person in the room, but showing up consistently, putting in the work, helping the people around you, and holding your brothers and sisters to a higher standard.

🔥 HUGE SHOUTOUT TO ALIYANAH HUROV! 🔥

Aliyanah stepped onto the mat for her very first superfight as a gray-black belt—facing a higher belt who was also a higher weight class. 💪

She stayed focused, trusted her training, and secured the victory by armbar submission! 🥋🏆

A huge shoutout to her opponent as well. It takes tremendous courage to step onto the mat, test yourself, and compete. Both athletes showed incredible heart! 👏

Let’s keep learning. Let’s keep growing. Let’s keep challenging ourselves.

Ava continues to impress us with her dedication, work ethic, and growth on the mats—but what makes us especially proud is the way she’s beginning to step into a leadership role. 💪❤️

Ava has been helping with our Little Kids Class, assisting with instruction and stepping in during sparring to help guide and encourage our younger students. Watching one of our Big Kids become someone the Little Kids can look up to is what Studio 33 is all about. 🙌

Our very own Coach Scott is off to Colorado to begin a new adventure! 🏔️

While that means our Monday Judo class has come to an end, we couldn’t let Coach Scott leave without taking a moment to recognize him and say THANK YOU.

Thank you for the time, knowledge, patience, and passion you’ve shared with everyone who stepped onto the mats with you. More than anything, thank you for being part of the Studio 33 family. 🥋❤️

We’re sad to see you go, but we’re excited for everything this next chapter has in store for you.

Some athletes win because they’re talented… others win because they refuse to back down. Isaac is BOTH. 💥

Congratulations to our Big Kids Student of the Month, ISAAC! 👏🔥

At just 8 years old, Isaac has the courage to step onto the mats with the older kids and never backs down from a challenge. 💪 His positive attitude, fearless mindset, and passion for Jiu Jitsu make him an incredible example for everyone around him.

🏆 He’s competed in our last several tournaments and has stepped onto the podium every single time! 🙌 But what really makes Isaac stand out isn’t just the medals… it’s the way he competes.

🥋🌟 MAY STUDENT OF THE MONTH – ZACH! 🌟🥋

Everyone help us celebrate our Little Kids Student of the Month… ZACH!!! 👏🎉

One of the most rewarding parts of Jiu Jitsu is watching kids discover just how strong they really are—and Zach is a perfect example of that. 💪❤️

When Zach first joined the gym, he was quiet and shy. But through hard work, consistency, and courage, he has transformed into one of the leaders of our Little Kids program! 🚀

Today, Zach is one of our trusted Line Leaders 👊 and sets a great example for the other students every time he steps on the mat. His technical skills continue to improve, but what stands out most is his mindset.

🔥 Where he may have given up before, he now keeps fighting.
🔥 Where he once doubted himself, he now believes in himself.
🔥 Where he was once timid, he now leads.

His growth has been incredible to watch, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young man he’s becoming. 🥹🥋
