Race recap from Devil's Bowl Speedway Aug. 15th for Friend Construction Night.

The weather was picture perfect and everyone was happy to be back at the track. The pits were full with track regulars and some out of town talent for a night of double features throughout all divisions.

The Monroe Mines sponsored 44D would fire off 11th for the first O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman feature. Where the game plan was to ride and survive for the second 20 lap feature later in the program.

Things would start fine with Dupe battling back and forth with several competitors somewhere midpack. That was until lap 9 when something transpired on the exit of turn 4 with 99 of Russ Farr.

In the video you're about to see our wheelman would have no time to react before making hard contact with friend & fellow competitor Russ Farr.

The 510 of Wade dives left at the last second and Dupe would react by turning the opposite direction. Not knowing that there laid the Farr 99.

A scary incident for all involved and thankful both drivers are okay! Thankful the safety equipment did it's job, Bicknell builds a great safe product, track and safety crews were on it! You never wanna see anything like that in this sport we all love. We're just glad there was no serious injury.

Yes its heartbreak and a season ending blow for the Duprey Motorsports stable. Boss man says we're done for the season! It's been a tough go for 2026 and that's a wrap sadly 🤷🏻‍♂️💔🥺

No racing this weekend for the Duprey Motorsports stable. With our home track on "summer break" this weekend. The boss man and his other half our soaking up a little sun in Hampton Beach! ⛱️ ☀️🌊😎

Quick race day recap for Aug. 1st at Devil's Bowl. It was the "Prelude to the 200" presented by Reed Door Solutions with the DIRTcar 358's & DIRTcar Extreme Midgets in attendance.

Dupe would start the night strong with a p2 finish in heat one for O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman. Setting the stage for a 9th starting spot in the 25 lap feature.

The crew would do their thing after the heat and then go enjoy some of the racing program. Which was a stellar show I might add. Track was awesome and every division put on a show.... if you aren't in attendance you missed out big time!

Now we jump into the Monroe Mines-sponsored 44D machine feature. Our driver would fire off 9th and instantly get up on the wheel. Having a fast piece. Longing a lap time of 18.801 on lap 9.

Unfortunately our night would end with more heartbreak on lap 18. When the tailpipe which had broken off the right side header laps prior. Folded around the horseshoe, hitting the racing surface and bending it in a boomerang. Which eventually punctured the right rear tire with 7 laps remaining. Resulting in a DNF and being awarded with a 15th place finish.

Later we'd discover the tabs had broken on the tailpipe resulting in what transpired. An unfortunate incident and we'll put her back together for another go. We're just happy to finally show speed, balance and be moving forward! Gotta take the good with the bad.... something we've learned a lot this season!
