Them: “Your horse is spoiled.”

Me: He is appropriately compensated for the user experience he provides.

And honestly, after spending my days doing massage and fascia therapy on horses, I understand this more than ever.

Think about everything horses do for us.

They carry us.
They teach us.
They compete for us.
They trail ride with us.
They haul across the country.
They tolerate our mistakes.
They adapt to our training programs.
They work through soreness, fatigue, stiffness, weather, and aging.

Many horses spend years compensating for rider asymmetries, old injuries, conformational challenges, poorly fitting equipment, repetitive training patterns, and the normal wear and tear of athletic life.

Then they quietly show up and do their jobs anyway.

One thing bodywork teaches you is that horses don’t always tell us when something is uncomfortable.

They often adapt.

Until they can’t.

Massage and fascia therapy aren’t about spoiling horses.

They’re about supporting the body that supports us.

Helping muscles relax.
Helping movement feel easier.
Helping compensation patterns become less necessary.
Helping circulation, mobility, comfort, and recovery.

Because if a horse spends thousands of hours taking care of us, it seems reasonable that we spend a little time taking care of them.

So yes.

Give your horse bodywork.

Give your horse maintenance.

Give your horse opportunities to move, stretch, and recover.

Pay attention when they seem a little stiff, a little sore, or a little different than usual.

Invest in their comfort the way they invest in us every day.

Not because they’re spoiled.

Because they’ve earned it.

I’m still in awe from last weekend, just wrapped up 5 pages of typed notes I hope to never forget, and am still forming connections on information.

What an outstanding group of women to not only stand among in this photo, but to have learned from, shared experiences and theories with, and whom I never thought I would be able to meet.

So thankful that so many others take continued education, growth, research, and skill building so seriously.

Every woman in this picture matters and chose to be here for a reason.

Schedule update!

April is officially at “wiggle room” only if needed status. No open days or large amounts of time left, you can only catch me for rest of month if I’m nearby and have a cancellation, can work ya in early/late, etc. 🎉

Don’t fear, with fuel so high I am willing to work into the schedule as needed within reason to keep routes as profitable as possible. So if you still need in on April schedule, reach out and I’ll see what I can do.

May schedule availability is posted and is starting to take shape. Please reach out if you need a certain May date (even if you haven’t yet had your April appointment), and we will get you scheduled!

Proudly offering private in-person education opportunities in the barn!

I’ve gotten questions about ride-alongs, and my schedule and business model just doesn’t sustain that well. The schedule changes last minute often, I try to respect client’s privacy of their property, and days often start early and end late.

As an alternative, I’m offering my herd and barn as a location to earn hands-on experience. Happy to help new therapists gain confidence on technique and modalities, offer help with content for case studies, or show owners more in-depth info on various things to support their horse(s).

2026 pricing is a donation to the long list of barn projects I need to complete. 😅

Come for a couple hours, bring a friend, let’s make a plan!
