Had the amazing opportunity to spend some time at the and learn a ton about how these cars work and run. As some of you know our new Top Alcohol Funny Car will have powered transferred through a torque converter and drive unit rather than a clutch and these guys have it figured out to a science… or maybe an art even. There is still so much more to learn about but overall a great weekend!

Body is back from paint and pinstripe!

We went with a Satin Grey paint with black and grey pin striping. The call looks almost sinister, but fast. I spent last night and today getting all the body hardware reassembled and mounted and it’s starting to look even better. Although the car isn’t quite, I am Ready ready ready to head to a track but for now it’s another weekend.

Sunday Shop Day!

While I worked on getting the blower off and disassembled and crated to be sent for Recertification,
The new blower is out and ready to be gone through before becoming the primary!

dad finished building a stand for our spare read end so we can mount it down in the trailer and we are just waiting on some plates from the anodizer to finishing assembly. (pic 2)

Body is off for paint and we are going through this car top to bottom.

Last pic is a great example of why shops should be ventilated. Brake clean fumes build up and lead to questionable photos

But it is with great excitement I share we built a BRAND NEW Top Alcohol Funny Car with intent to have it on track this 2026 season! It’s was not an easy process and I can’t thank my Dad enough for the hours put in to get this car ready as the process went on. The amount of hours put in by so many people has been incredible and I can’t share my thanks enough. From traveling up to McKinney Corp to get the seat poured, hauling the car from Indiana to Florida again (in ice which was a first for this Floridian), assembling the car in Florida to the haul it to for the finishing touches. This whole project had been an experience and taken immense effort from so many. I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity once again and look forward to sharing more as it comes! Currently the car if still out of Florida and a finalized schedule has not been made but either way this is sure to be a quick racecar and I can’t wait to have it on track!
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this possible and more updates to come soon! Wishing everyone a blessed holiday season and a very special New Year!

After selling the Funny Car, the race was on to work work work with winter being our busy season! We had a great weekend up at for the Night Under Fire. Rolled out with a runner up finish and a ton of new knowledge. We have plans to be back on track later this year and until then will be working hard to make it as nice again possible!
