Recovery 10 for the year occurred last week. It was a deadly shot but no blood. Dixie led us directly to it. This was also the first shed buck we have found. As the last few days of season wind down, do not hesitate to reach out for assistance if needed.

Took a Little trip this morning and ended up giving another deer a ride on the tailgate. Ole dixie marched us right to this nice 11 point. Thank you Brian Ayers for trusting us in assisting to recover your deer. Thank you for doing the right thing and not pushing him.

We loaded up last night and headed out, giving another deer a tailgate ride. 300 yards from the point of impact. 0 restarts. She marched us right to it. And to cap it all off, it was on her birthday.

On Wednesday afternoon, I conducted a track for a friend's son. After putting down the dog and allowing her to work, she began hunting instead of tracking approximately 100 yards into the track. We restarted her at the last known blood, but she repeated the same behavior. Following another restart, she continued to hunt rather than track. I informed the hunter that we were pursuing a live deer, as I did not believe the shot was fatal. The hunter later confirmed via text that the deer had reappeared on camera with a non-fatal wound. This marked our 22nd track for the year. I will be on limited time for the next four days due to work commitments but will be available for evening tracks this weekend if needed.

With our streak of not having dead deer to find and chasing non-fatally wounded deer, we are offering a complimentary t-shirt to the next fatally shot deer we track.

Track 14 was last night. Ended in a non recovery. I am almost certain this deer will live.
Track 15 was conducted this morning before daylight. We tracked it 150 yrds to find it dead, but unfortunately the coyotes got to her first.
Track 16 was ran a little after daylight. We tracked him 200 yards. At 150 yards we found a bed with what appeared to be fresher blood. After restarting back at the bed we found 2 more spots of blood on up the hill. After those spots she turned from tracking to hunting which is a sign she doesn't think he was dead. After making a phone call and discussing the evidence present its determined to be a low and far back shot. UPDATE Track 16 was back on camera on 11/7/2025

We conducted Track 11 on Sunday, which did not result in recovery. The buck reappeared on camera on Wednesday. Track 12 was also a non-recovery effort made on Sunday night, with the track called around 1 mile. Hunter managed to re-engage the buck on Monday, landing another arrow. It is believed, based on the hunter's account, that the buck would have survived without the second arrow. Last night's Track 13 was another non-recovery. Circumstances led to a delayed start, approximately 32 hours post-shot. The dog showed signs of it being a non fatal shot after 200 yards. The hunter's information suggests a high shoulder shot. We provided assurance and are awaiting camera evidence. 2025 Stats: 13 tracks, 12 deer, 1 bear, 4 recoveries, 4 proof of life, and 5 unknown but suspected to be alive.

Track #10 was a success with another tailgate ticket being punched this morning. Advanced track 200-300 yrds to a nice 8. This is the first buck she has recovered as well

Track #9 was a non recovery. This was a high backstrap shot and as we was tracking the hunter received a proof of life picture from another trail camera roughly a half mile away
