Crazy to look back at these and realize how much life can change in just a few years.
If you look at me in 2023, that was a completely different chapter. Just a different version of me hanging out, having a beer, and kind of just coasting. I wasn’t necessarily in a terrible spot, but I definitely wasn’t operating anywhere near my actual potential.
Then you look at me on the mats. Sweaty, a few more tattoos, and an entirely different physical unit.
I want to be real with you guys—that transition didn’t happen because I found some secret supplement or a magic routine. It happened because I finally got tired of my own excuses. I started actually tracking what I was putting into my body, I stepped onto the mats, and I just refused to quit when it got hard or boring.
I tell the Clash Lab crew this all the time: progress isn’t always linear, and it usually isn’t pretty. It’s just about showing up and stacking those small wins day after day until you look in the mirror and realize you’ve completely rebuilt yourself.
The time is going to pass anyway. What are you building?
