Grip strength might be the easiest performance test you’re not measuring. ⛳💪

If you want to hit the ball farther, don’t just chase swing mechanics.

Research consistently shows that golfers with greater grip strength tend to produce:
🏌️ Faster clubhead speed
🚀 Higher ball speed
📏 Longer drives

That doesn’t mean you should spend all day squeezing a gripper. It means your overall strength program should include exercises that improve your ability to produce and transfer force through the club.

Strong hands help you create and maintain force from the ground all the way to impact.

How do you compare?

🏆 Male golfers
• Elite: 55–65+ kg
• Competitive: 50–55 kg
• Recreational: 40–49 kg

🏆 Female golfers
• Elite: 35–45+ kg
• Competitive: 30–35 kg
• Recreational: 25–29 kg

Have you ever tested your grip strength?

👇 Comment your handicap + grip strength, and we’ll tell you how you compare.

⛳ Golfer’s Elbow? It’s not just for golfers!

Golfer’s elbow is irritation and overload of the tendons on the inside of the elbow 💪—often caused by repetitive gripping, lifting, throwing, or swinging.

🙌 Where does soft tissue treatment fit in?
Hands-on treatment can help decrease pain, improve mobility, and make movement feel better. But treatment shouldn’t stop there!

🏋️ The long-term goal is to progressively strengthen the muscles and tendons so they can better handle the demands of your sport, workouts, and everyday life.

➡️ Treat the symptoms. Build the capacity. Get back to doing what you love. ⛳

Lately, these have been four of my favorite exercises to improve hip mobility.

Mobility isn't just about stretching—it's about developing the ability to move through available ranges of motion with strength and control.

Whether you're lifting, running, playing sports, or simply trying to move and feel better, healthy hip mobility can help improve movement options and reduce the need to compensate elsewhere.

The goal isn't to force more range of motion. It's to build control throughout the range you have while gradually expanding it over time.

Which one are you adding to your routine?
