Hi, I'm Becky Fox! Back in 2007, I started strict dieting and working out 2-3 hours a day to get the perfect body. I tried it all.

✓ Low carb ✓ Low fat ✓ No sugar ✓ Flavorless meals ✓ Counting calories. While these things often worked in the short run, the results never lasted. I would quickly fall off the wagon downing entire bags of Oreos or pints of Ben & Jerry’s when I got overwhelmed with li

fe or work, bored of eating the same foods everyday, or just tired of not being able to go out to eat with friends. All that hard work for the 10, 20, or 30 lbs I lost came rushing back on. I stayed on this struggle bus for nearly 10 years and went on to gain the most weight I ever had in my life! I don’t even have pictures at that heaviest point because I was too embarrassed to take any. How come after 10 years I wasn’t able to sustain any of the diets I tried? Or keep the weight off? I couldn’t figure out why I lacked the discipline or willpower to stay on track

It was embarrassing and I had enough!!! There had to be a better way and darn it I was going to figure it out! I started researching and studying strategies beyond diets, meal plans, and restrictions. I dove into the psychology of HOW to eat and not just WHAT to eat, uncovering weight loss methods that were sustainable and not short-lived (or even harmful in the long run). And sure enough, things started to shift once I started practicing these strategies on myself. I found a way of eating and working out that was simple, sustainable, and enjoyable. It didn’t feel overwhelmed and I could still eat the foods I loved like pizza, tacos, and chocolate! At 40, I’m happier and healthier than I’ve ever been. I enjoy food again, along with my favorite foods everyday, because nothing is off limits. I spend about 30 minutes a day working out. I’ve finally been able to maintain my weight. This is why I’m so passionate about what I do. I get the struggle & frustration. I don’t want women to live the rest of their lives struggling as I did. I don’t just want to help women lose weight.

A lot of women I talk to think going extreme is the only way to lose weight.

Eat less.

Cut out their favorite foods.

Workouts that leave you drained.

Push harder.

But after coaching women 45+ for two decades, I’ve learned the opposite is usually true.

The women who finally lose weight and keep it off aren’t the ones following the most restrictive plan.

They’re the ones who stop trying to be perfect.

They eat enough to support their body.

They make room for foods they enjoy instead of feeling guilty every time they have chocolate.

They focus on strength and consistency instead of trying to burn themselves into the ground with workouts they hate.

And when life happens (because it always does), they don’t throw in the towel and promise to “start over Monday.”

The truth is that most women don’t need a stricter plan.

They need a plan they can actually follow when life gets busy, stressful, messy, and imperfect.

Because the goal isn’t just losing weight.

The goal is losing it without feeling like your entire life revolves around food, exercise, and starting over.

For years, I thought the answer was to be more strict.

Eat less.
Cut out sugar.
Do more cardio.
Train harder and longer.
“Get serious.”

And every time I “fell off track,” I blamed myself.

But looking back, the real problem was that I was trying to follow plans that made normal life feel like failure.

One dinner out turned into “I blew it.”

One stressful week turned into quitting.

One dessert turned into “I’ll restart Monday.”

That cycle kept me stuck gaining and losing the same 20 lbs for years.

Fat loss finally got easier when I stopped chasing perfection and started focusing on consistency instead.

Not trying to eat perfectly or trying to lose weight as fast as possible.

Just learning how to eat, exercise, and recover from setbacks in a way I could actually sustain.

The reason I work out has nothing to do with trying to punish myself into losing weight.

It’s this.

Going on a 5-mile hike through a canyon with my family.

Climbing over logs.

Walking through water.

Going up hills.

Being tired… but still capable.

I LOVE this kind of stuff.

Give me nature, movement, adventure, and feeling alive over sitting on the sidelines any day.

And honestly, this is what I wish more women understood about fitness.

Working out isn’t just about shrinking your body.

It’s about being able to live your life.

It’s about having the energy to keep up with your kids or grandkids.

Not getting winded going up stairs.

Not feeling achy and stiff all the time.

Being able to move, travel, explore, carry things, hike, play, and stay independent as you get older.

That matters way more to me than a number on the scale.

I want to feel strong, capable, and keep doing the things I love for as long as possible.

That’s why I train.

So I’m curious, how does fitness improve your life outside of weight loss?

You do NOT need to spend your entire Sunday meal prepping to eat more protein.

Keeping quick, easy protein options on hand makes hitting your goals way easier.

Instead stock up with easy no-cook options like…

* Rotisserie chicken
* Greek yogurt
* Cottage cheese
* Protein shakes
* Smoothies
* Deli turkey + cheese roll-ups
* Hard boiled eggs
* Tuna packets
* Pre-cooked chicken strips
* String cheese

📌 Save this for your next grocery run.

Tracking your food doesn’t have to feel like a second job.

The easier you make it, the easier it is to stay consistent.
