🥈🐾 STATE RUNNER-UP & INDIVIDUAL SILVER MEDALIST! THE PURPLE AND GOLD SHINE AT STATE! 💜💛

What a historic performance by the Bloomfield High School Boys Golf Team at Rivercut Municipal Golf Course in Springfield! Our Wildcats dug deep, fought hard, and are officially bringing home the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 1 State Runner-Up Trophy!

After an opening-round 337, the Wildcats played through the rain on Day 2, carding a blistering tournament-low 322 on Tuesday—improving by 15 strokes to finish with a spectacular 36-hole total of 659! The Purple and Gold represented our community with absolute excellence!

⭐️ THE STATE ROSTER LEADERBOARD ⭐️Behind a sensational individual runner-up performance, our entire five-man roster played elite high school golf against the best players in Missouri:
🥈 Hollis Jines – 149 (+5) | 2nd Place Overall State Individual Silver Medalist!
🔹 Cash Bedell – 166 | Tied for 25th Place in the state!
🔹 Braden Upchurch – 168 | Tied for 31st Place in the state!
🔹 Bryson Battles – 182 | Tied for 71st Place in the state!
🔹 Aidyn Vaughn – 185 | Tied for 77th Place in the state!

💜💛 Weather delayed us, but the Wildcats couldn't be stopped!

Day 1 of the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 1 State Championship at Rivercut Municipal Golf Course is in the books. After navigating an early storm delay, the boys put together a phenomenal day on the course and currently sit in 2nd PLACE in the team standings! 🥈⛳

Here is how the Wildcats stand individually heading into Day 2:

TICKET PUNCHED! 🎟️⛳️ The Wildcats are STATE BOUND!

Our boys headed to Bogey Creek Golf Club in Farmington today for the Class 1 District 1 tournament and absolutely delivered. Coming in as the 2nd ranked team, the Wildcats played their best golf of the year, carding a season-low team score of 325 to WIN the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP! 📉🔥

Huge shoutout to our All-District Honors recipients:
🥈 Hollis Jines – 76 (2nd Place!)
🏅 Aidyn Vaughn – 82 (T-5th)
🏅 Braden Upchurch – 82 (T-5th)
🏅 Cash Bedell – 85 (T-11th)

SEMO Conference Tournament Recap ⛳️💨

The Wildcats competed today in the SEMO Conference Tournament at Cape Girardeau Country Club. It was a beautiful but windy day, and the course definitely challenged the field with some extremely fast greens. Thanks to Cape Tiger Athletics for hosting this year!

Congratulations to the Poplar Bluff Mules on capturing the team title with an impressive score of 298.

The Wildcats finished 5th out of 12 teams in their first appearance in the SEMO Conference—an outstanding showing with a team score of 351!
