Well took Sugar on a walk. What I was doing with her connects to what problems she had. She love to run off and whenever you got her running she wouldn’t stop. Sooooo. I took her to the field and was walking trotting but every couple yards I was stopping backing walking circles or stop and change direction. She likes to look at other horses and be with them. But when I flex her or yeald her hind quarters. She don’t have time for other horses and when she’s on the same mind set as me I’ll walk her off. Making the right thing easy wrong thing hard. When she wants to trot without me asking she gets to run in small circles until she is calm. When she’s calm we walk on. Always end on a good note, we got to do it today 😊

After some flexing and bending in her ribs and stoping and backing. She is doing much better. I decided to start that before lunging because she likes to jump on you when calling her in. So now she knows my bubble she knows she can’t come in till I let her in. That so far hasn’t been to hard to teach her. Her flexing is looking much better. She use to be stiff as a board! So now she’s being a flexible gymnast lol more like she may be a good barrel racer 😁 maybe🤔😁

Some good news on Sugar, she isn't afraid of my stuff, But something I'm gonna have to fix is that she likes to jump on you to stop when lunging. It takes a good while to slow her down.

Meet Sugar she is 20 years old but you wouldn’t know it she has more go then anything. Gonna teach her she don’t have to go so much. But for now she’s gonna get to chill at the new place. 😊
