Lake Erie weekend didn’t go as planned as it normally does every year. Had ok speed on Thursday and got a little bit faster on Friday but ended up hitting a plateau. The racecar had other plans. Started 19th out of a tough 26 modified line up. Didn’t thrive during the feature but we did survive and ended up 15th.

Moving past Erie and next up is Lancaster US Open for the last two races of the season on the 18th and 19th!

Holland was definitely a fun one this year! Total of 29 sportsman came out for the George Decker Memorial! The most on a track at once I’ve raced against! Started 21st and by the end of the night was able to stay on the lead lap and finish 17th! Before the races we also received an award for the “best appearing pit crew”!💪🏻🏁 Can’t thank all the people who made the George Decker Memorial race possible this year!

Weather was not on our side tonight for double features. We’ll try again next week at Holland with the Race of Champions series!🏁

Due to the incoming rain forecast for later today (August 22), Lancaster Motorplex has made the difficult decision to cancel today’s racing program.

With the weather expected to impact the area later in the day, we felt it was best to make the call early for the benefit of our race teams, fans, and staff who travel to be with us.

Race recap from Lake Erie Speedway🏁

Lake Erie is one of my favorite tracks! The car felt great and I ran my fastest laps there! Started the feature 18th and finished 15th at the end. Learned a lot and had fun racing side by side with others! Can’t wait to come back to Erie in the fall! 🏁

Huge shoot out to my Friends for surprising me! Absolutely had no clue they were coming! 🤍
