Next Level Athletes Competition Breeds Success

At Next Level Athletes, we don’t just train muscles — we train movement.

The reverse bear crawl is one of our staples because it builds the foundation every athlete needs:

🔹 Core stability controlling your body under tension
🔹 Shoulder strength critical for contact, blocking, and durability
🔹 Coordination opposite arm/leg movement translates to sprinting mechanics
🔹 Body control staying low, controlled, and efficient
🔹 Mental toughness simple movement, done with purpose

Moving backward forces athletes to slow down, think, and truly OWN their movement.

This is how we build better athletes from the ground up.

Master the basics. Dominate the game.

In season training is just as important as offseason training. Do not train for a sport, and then completely quit training.

Benefits of inseason training

1. Maintains Strength & Power
Without training, athletes can lose strength surprisingly fast (within a few weeks). In-season lifting keeps your explosiveness, speed, and physical edge intact so you don’t fade late in the season.

2. Reduces Injury Risk
Consistent mobility work, stability training, and controlled resistance exercises help:
• Keep joints strong
• Balance muscle imbalances
• Reduce overuse injuries
This is huge when your body is taking constant impact.

3. Improves Recovery
The right kind of training (not just going hard every day) actually helps your body recover faster:
• Blood flow increases
• Muscles stay loose
• Soreness decreases

4. Keeps You Fast & Reactive
Short bursts of speed, agility, and reaction work maintain neuromuscular sharpness. That means:
• Quicker first step
• Better change of direction
• Faster reaction in game situations

5. Builds Consistency & Discipline
Athletes who train in-season build habits that others don’t. That consistency is usually what separates starters from backups.

6. Gives You a Late-Season Advantage
Most athletes break down as the season goes on. If you’re training smart:
• You stay strong while others get weaker
• You stay fast while others slow down
• You perform your best when it matters most (playoffs)
