Off season begins!
With the announcement that GROM Racing will officially convert to Virginia DH Racing in 2021.
We will continue to be a team of up and coming Cat 1 and Pro talent, as well as select Jrs.
Our team mission, is to grow the sport, and grow our riders.
We work with racers between ages of 15 to 29, with the hope of each of them becoming competitive USAC Pro DH racers.
We specifically work with riders that are in a financially stressful life range, trying to balance school, work, racing, family etc.
Our Team will grow the scene, by working in cooperation with Snowshoe Bike Park to provide a series of Jr. Bike Camp days, to teach the next generation of young riders how to have fun, and rip at the Bike Park, safely. We will also continue our winter bike wrench workshops.
For 2021, the team gains 3 new riders. Pro: Ronnie Vance, Cat 1s Cody Rebok, Matt Hempell and Jr Ethan Zimmerman ,
join Andrew Issem, Jordan Tunks, Bradley Tunks, Ben Bryant, Scott Pringle and Ian Davy.
The larger team will be more able to support the jr clinics and also able to hit a larger spread of races in 2021, including DHSE, Nationals, and ESC events.
This past weekend, Matt Hempell got his first Cat 1 19-29 WIN at Mountain Creek!!!
And last weekend Ronnie Vance won overall at the local Waid Park Enduro.
We cant wait to announce our new sponsors and social media locations. Stay tuned.
