Poor Angel got stung by a wasp at home this morning, so she didn’t feel like riding this evening. Instead, she helped me around the farm with some barn chores and cleaned some tack with me. Love that this kiddo has so much grit and wants to do more than ride. 🤍

And sweet Carlei got to ride Clementine today! We had a fun evening with some games AND lots of laughs!! 🩷

🥇🥈🏅We’re sweaty. We’re tired. But we’re thrilled with the weekend. One 1st place, two 2nd places, and one 4th place. We placed in every class, and we placed 1st in our biggest class (10 riders)! We got some great feedback that really made sense with what we’ve been working on. I am so proud of my little self-made, versatile pony! I think we will both be sleeping very soundly tonight… 🥇🥈🏅

Special thanks to my best barn friend Emily Heberlie for going with me, and making the weekend fun! Also, big thanks to my trainer for helping get us prepared for this show & her pointers over the weekend! Thanks to Lise Ann McNamara for serving as “home-base” this weekend; we had such a nice visit! As always, I’m thankful for my awesome husband who keeps things rolling at home while I’m off adventuring.

We can’t wait to see everyone back in the saddle this week! 🤍
