🏈Meet your BYF Board🏈

Next up in our “Meet the Board” series is our Fundraising and Apparel Manager Kim Miller! Kim has been involved with BYF for about 10 years, and this is her second year on the board.

🍿 Go to confession food: Popcorn

🏈 Best Part about being on the board: “Helping with decision making to make the program better for the kids!”

💙 A little more about me: “This is my 2nd go around with BYF. My oldest son played 20 years ago! I started over and doing it all again! I work full time in radiology, sell Pampered Chef, coach baseball, basketball, and now help coach soccer! I have 6 kids (bonus kids included) ranging from ages 27-8. And 2 grandbabies! So just because you are busy you can still join the board and help make a difference!”

As busy as life can get, Kim is a perfect example of how you can still make time to give back and make a difference.

Kim, thank you for continuing to show up, lend your ideas, put in the work, and help move BYF forward. We truly appreciate everything you do for our organization and our kids! 💙🏈

And we’re pretty sure after all those years of BYF, coaching, kids, grandbabies, and everything else… you’ve earned a LOT of popcorn! 🍿😂

Thank you for being part of our BYF family, Kim!

🏈Meet your BYF Board🏈

Next up in our “Meet the Board” series is our Concession Manager, Katie Bonomo! 💙 Katie has been a part of BYF for 4 years, and this is her second year serving on the board.

🍿 Go-to concession food: Popcorn

🏈 Best part about being on the youth football board: “I love watching the kids’ confidence grow from the beginning of the season to the end. Also grateful to have the opportunity to be a small part of a program that means so much to so many families and to be able to give back to the community that gave me so many great memories growing up.”

🎃 Fun fact: I am a lover of Halloween and all things fall 🍂 It is my favorite time of year and I will absolutely use it as an excuse to decorate everything😂😈👻

❤️ A little more about me:
My husband Justin and I have been together for 22 years, and we have two daughters, Harper, 7, and Lennon, 5. This is Harper’s fourth year in the program and Lennon’s third! 💙📣

I grew up right here in Bismarck, so getting to watch my girls grow up in the same community means so much to me. I started out as a Peanut Cheerleader in 1991, back when we were still black and red! 😂❤️🖤 Some of my very favorite childhood memories were made right here at the park, so getting to come full circle and now watch my own girls make memories here is pretty special. 🥹

Thank you Katie, for your dedication and commitment to BYF and our concession stand! The concession is a huge part of game days, and there is so much work that happens behind the scenes to keep it running smoothly. Thank you for all the time, energy, and heart you pour into this program and our BYF families! We appreciate you! 💙🏈

Be sure to follow along as we continue introducing you to the people behind the scenes who help make BYF possible! 💙🏈

We are so excited to see you Sunday for our first home game! 🏈 📢

Our concession stand is stocked and ready to serve you! 🌭🍕🌮🍔 🥨🍿🍫

We know everyone loves a good concession stand snack (and we promise we try our best to keep our prices as reasonable as possible! 😂), but we wanted to share a little reminder about where your concession dollars go.

Bismarck Youth Football league is responsible for the costs of keeping our park and facilities running and maintained. That means concession profits help cover things like:

🏟️ Park and facility maintenance
💡 Electricity and power bills
🧍🏻‍♂️Compensation for our officials
🚽 Restroom and facility upkeep
🛠️ Repairs and improvements
🏈 Equipment and supplies
🌱 Field maintenance and other operational costs
👦👧 And, most importantly, supporting the kids in our program!

We are a 100% volunteer-run organization, and we work hard to keep our prices as affordable as possible while also making enough profit to help cover the expenses it takes to operate and maintain our facilities and program.

So every time you grab a snack or drink from the concession stand, you’re directly helping support Bismarck Youth Football and the place our kids get to practice and play! 💙🖤🤍

We truly appreciate every single person who supports us—and thank you for helping us continue to provide a great program and facility for our community’s kids! 🏈💙

Thank you for supporting the Blue Demons! 💙😈
