Week 3 Fox island boat ramp

We will be going out of Fox Island ramp this Saturday. The boundaries will be from Fox island to Wilton boat ramp. Since winter temperatures don’t want to give it up the hours will be 1-7. Remember that you must show up 30 minutes before takeoff. You will want to find the red/silver ranger 1880 in the lot to pay your entry fee and pickup your sheet for the week. When loading and unloading please be mindful of the public and let them go first/ wave them by to put in if we are in line. When loaded in the afternoon, park out of the way and not right by the ramp. Let’s not make the congestion worse. 1st 15 teams to message this page will be in. You will receive a confirmation message back if you have been accepted. Only one team member needs to message us with their team members names. We will post on our page if it fills. Also don’t forget a Scheels or judge bump board. We will keep an eye on the weather and make a decision if it’s out of hand.

Any other questions we can answer when handing out your sheets.

Also - Farmers Union Insurance - Twardoski Agency has generously chipped in a scheels gift card each week for biggest walleye caught.

Week 1 Hazelton boat ramp

We will be going out of the Hazelton ramp. The boundaries will be from the rifle range boat ramp and open boundary to the south. The hours will be 9-330. Remember that you must show up 30 minutes before takeoff. You will want to find the red/silver ranger 1880 in the lot to pay your entry fee and pickup your sheet for the week. The way Hazelton is set up we will more than likely recommend you to put your boat in and idle out of the skinny water and go stage in the main river. Also when loading and unloading please be mindful of the public and let them go first/ wave them by to put in if we are in line. When loaded in the after noon park out of the way not right by the ramp. Let’s not make the congestion worse. We will access the ramp in the afternoon and may even pull up to the top of the cliff and do awards up there, we will see. Not knowing if docks are in I’d advice the guy that has to get in the boat where muck boots so he doesn’t have wet feet all day.

The first 15 teams to message this page will be in. You will receive a confirmation message back if you have been accepted. Only one team member needs to message us with their team members names. We will post on our page if it fills.

Any other questions we can answer in the morning when handing out your sheets.

Just a reminder Thursday night we will draw the ramp location week 1. Due to NDGF permit constraints, we are going to cap each event at 15 teams. Once the first 15 teams of 2 or 3 people message this page listing their team and that they will be there we will post that the event is full for that location. We will not accept anymore entries that morning for people who did not message the page.

Reminder: Make sure you have a red scheels/judge ruler to use to measure your fish. You will take one picture of the fish on the ruler with the weekly sheet included in the picture. The second picture will be of you holding the fish with the weekly sheet also displayed in the picture.

Teams of two or three anglers. Everyone and anyone is welcome. You can pick and choose the weeks in which you would like to participate.

• Kids under 18 can hop in as a third partner.

Entry Fee:

$50 per team, per week (cash only)

Payouts:

5 teams or less: Winner takes all
6–9 teams: Top 2 teams paid. (1st - 75%, 2nd - 25%)
10-15 teams: Top 3 teams paid. (1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%)
15+ teams: Top 4 teams paid. (1st 40%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%, 4th 10%)

How It Works:

• Scoring: Write your scores on the sheet provided each week. Round up to the nearest ¼ inch (e.g., 24.75" = 25").
• At the end of the day, you will hand in your scorecard.
• Photos will only need to be sent if you are one of the teams getting paid that week. All photos of big fish are encouraged to be sent to post on this page at a later date.

Boundaries:

Each week there will be a different set of boundaries, depending on which ramp we go out of.

• Fox Island Ramp: Fox Island to Wilton boat ramp

• Desert Ramp: Fox Island to rifle range

• Hazelton Ramp: Rifle range to the state line

Communication:

We will draw out of a hat every Thursday night to decide which ramp will be used that week. We will then post the location, time, and any other misc. items on our page that evening.

Let's have a great year!
