The leader of the squad!!

Hear directly from our former players, parents, and coaches as they share what the Delmarva Aces program has meant to them.

Today, we’re proud to spotlight Richard Carey, a 2017 Delmarva Aces alum and current 13U Beach Head Coach. Richard spent three years in the program as a player and is now entering his fourth season as an Aces coach.

Richie is one of the most respected and well-liked coaches in our organization. His energy is contagious, and his passion for helping players improve shows every day. A 2017 Cape Henlopen graduate and former All-Conference catcher at Penn State Altoona, Richie remains one of the best catch-and-throw catchers to come through our program. He also serves as the JV coach at Sussex Tech, continuing to make an impact on the next generation of players.

Been holding this one until they made the announcement officially but this ended our Hershey weekend. Congrats to Coach Richie and Sierra on the announcement of our new team member!! The boys reaction is awesome!!

12 boys, 2 coaches, some returning faces, some new faces…combine that with will, grit, and an organization to back you and give you the tools to excel, equals the beach boys season. As our season comes to an end (maybe not) this group has grown exponentially in all aspects of skill, maturity, growth, and the love for the game. The beach boys produced a 21-13-1 record for the spring season capping off our best season. The boys have put in the work and showed up every weekend to put out a strong product to show who the beach boys are!!

We’d also like to thank the parents for the support. From the early morning dropoffs, to the long day snackle boxes, or even the hotel bookings and the long late night car rides home. This couldn’t be done without you all, the supportive siblings, and other family members!!
We tip our caps to all of you for your unwavering love for us and this team!!!
