May it be transformative.

Dear friends, as we move closer to the Full Moon in Scorpio on May 1, many may already be feeling that something deeper is beginning to rise. It may not arrive dramatically at first. It may come as a mood, a memory, a stronger reaction, a sudden emotional wave, a conversation that touches something old, or a quiet inner knowing that something within you can no longer be ignored. Scorpio Full Moons tend to illuminate what has been living beneath the surface, and this one may feel especially revealing because it arrives right as May begins to open its field of movement, change, and deeper realignment.
Scorpio is the sign of depth, transformation, emotional truth, endings, release, power, intimacy, vulnerability, and rebirth. It does not usually bring things up simply to disturb us. It brings them up because something is ready to be seen with more honesty. A pattern may become clearer. An attachment may feel heavier. A wound may speak louder. A truth you have been circling around may now begin asking for more direct recognition, not so that you can collapse into it, but so that you can finally understand what it has been trying to show you.
But this Full Moon is not only about Scorpio. It also activates the Ta**us-Scorpio axis. Ta**us brings us back to the body, the senses, peace, stability, nourishment, self-worth, safety, and the life we are trying to build with more steadiness. Scorpio brings release, transformation, emotional honesty, energetic detoxification, and the courage to face what is no longer aligned. One side wants to hold on. The other side knows when something must change. One side seeks comfort. The other side reveals where comfort may have quietly become avoidance.
For many, this may bring awareness around the places where stability and transformation are asking for a new balance. Where have we been holding on because something feels familiar, even if it no longer feels alive? Where have we called something peace when it was actually avoidance? Where have we called something passion when it was actually an old emotional pattern asking to be completed? Where is life asking us to choose self-respect over emotional repetition, embodiment over chaos, and grounded change over another cycle of reaction?
This Full Moon may also carry echoes of a much longer storyline. The Ta**us-Scorpio eclipse cycle of 2022 and 2023 brought deep lessons around attachment, security, control, self-worth, resources, emotional entanglement, and the difference between what gives us real stability and what only keeps us tied to old patterns. And now, with Uranus having just moved out of Ta**us after years of shaking the foundations of comfort, values, money, body, security, and earthly stability, this Scorpio Full Moon may feel like a closing point, a final realization, or the last emotional layer of something that has been unfolding for years.
So if old feelings are rising now, pause before you react. If a conversation touches a wound, breathe before you answer. If something feels intense, do not immediately assume that intensity means truth. Sometimes the energy is asking us to witness the pattern without becoming the pattern again. Sometimes the deepest transformation is not the dramatic choice, but the mature one. The grounded one. The one that says: I see what this is now, and I am no longer available to move through it in the same old way.
