🐾This lady here is Wednesday, who came to us after a TPLO and a previous MPL.

🐕 She was LASER focused in the treadmill, not wanting treats or distracted by anything.

🫣During exercise she would howl (for no reason) and plop down if she wasn't having it.

This week we're talking about IVDD!

🐾IVDD can sound scary, but your pup doesn’t have to navigate recovery alone.

IVDD happens when a disc in the spine becomes damaged or herniates, putting pressure on the spinal cord and causing pain, weakness, or difficulty walking.

With the right treatment and rehab, many dogs can regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

🐾 TPLO… what does that even mean?

🦴TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) is a common knee surgery for dogs who have torn their CCL — similar to the ACL in people.

🪛The surgery changes the angle of the knee so it’s more stable when your dog walks and bears weight. After surgery, rehab plays an important role in rebuilding strength, improving mobility, and helping your pup safely get back to the activities they love!
