“Girls showed out today!! I mean man did they light up the bats tonight. It was like watching fireworks at 4th of July! Pitching had defense behind them at every corner. So proud of them today. Coach Chevis & I agreed today that the girls won on every level of ball. Most importantly today, the girls were having fun. So often it’s forgotten that at the end of the day that these are still kids. Literally just having fun doing what they love. And me getting the privilege of seeing their growth is what I love.” -Coach Chu

MS Rays 11U • Chu is seeking 1–2 high-caliber athletes to strengthen our Class A roster for the upcoming fall season.

We are looking for competitors who want to be challenged, developed, and held to a high standard. If your athlete thrives in a competitive environment and is committed to continuous growth, we want to talk.

The players we’re looking for are:

🔥 Relentless in their hustle
🔥 Highly coachable and eager to learn
🔥 Team-first players who prioritize winning over individual recognition

Our goal is simple: compete at a high level, develop complete athletes, and build a culture of accountability, toughness, and excellence. Every roster spot is earned, and every player is expected to contribute.

“What a day today! We played our two favorite local teams today and ended up finishing in second place due to the weather keeping us from having a championship game. But the semifinals game was a firecracker. They fought back after being down to get to international tie breaker! And as we like to do in those tie breakers, we let the barrel eat! Girls’ bats were hot all weekend. So proud of the grit they have. I’d much rather see them fight back and win a game than to blow out a team 10-0. Only a few more tournaments left for the season & I know these girls are still getting better each day.” -Coach Chu

“This weekend the team played electric even in the one loss we had that sent us to the losers bracket. The bats were hot putting up 71 runs and only giving up 14 runs in 9 games with 3 games going into international tie breaker. The girls all poured into this weekend in different ways that collectively led to them double dipping to come out as CHAMPIONS! So proud of how they fought and stayed in the games this weekend. MVP was the whole team! This tournament definitely shows the growth these girls had so far this season.
