Unfortunately, there are no photos or videos of the lone 2005 season featuring your Billings Mavericks. The team played in 2005 in the NIFL (also the former home of the Southern Oregon Heat and Yakima Shockwave) during a dispute over the use of the name "Outlaws". Now that the "Outlaws" are a footnote in Billings arena/indoor football history, this is a new beginning for the Mavericks as a full-blown expansion team. If you are a LOCAL ownership group in the Billings area or a community group that would like to make this franchise a community-owned team and don't want to pay 3/4 of a million dollars for an intellectual property/franchise rights, please let us know in a DM. Let's make NEW history with the Billings Mavericks!

ONE TOWN! ONE TEAM! NO OUTLAWS!

Who remembers this? The day the Outlaws left town for good! Leaving fans of arena/indoor football without a team... until now! They are history! In fact, they aren't even the REAL Outlaws. The REAL Outlaws were for one season in 2005 known as the Billings Mavericks when they were in the NIFL.

Now with the departure of the Outlaws, it is time for a new era in arena/indoor football! We care about the community of Billings and the surrounding areas. We are currently in search of a LOCAL ownership group and a league to play in so that the Billings market can have a team again! And NO excuses!
