When we started the Magic City Cyclones in 2024, we knew exactly what we wanted this organization to be about.
We wanted to create an opportunity for kids to become better baseball players, compete against great competition, learn the game the right way, and grow alongside teammates and coaches who genuinely care about them.
We also wanted to prove that travel baseball doesn’t have to break the bank. We want to remain cost-effective for families while still providing our players with quality coaching, competitive opportunities, development, and experiences they’ll remember long after baseball is over.
But most importantly, this was never supposed to be about chasing trophies, collecting the best players, or winning at all costs.
It’s about development. Relationships. Confidence. Competing. Being a great teammate. Learning how to handle success and failure. And having FUN playing the game.
We know building something the right way takes time. There will be growing pains. There will be challenges. There will always be other opportunities and different paths for families to choose from.
That’s okay.
We’re going to continue to trust the process and stay true to why we started.
At the end of the day, if our kids become better baseball players, better teammates, make lifelong friendships, create great memories, and families feel like they received an experience worth far more than what they paid for — then we’re doing this right.
We’re excited about where we’re headed, and we’re just getting started. See you all in three weeks at tryouts! 😤
