Girl just keep goin girl 😅

No life-changing quote.
No perfect morning routine here.

Just… keep going.

Some seasons are less about feeling inspired and more about staying consistent, taking care of yourself, and making the next right decision in front of you.

And honestly? That counts too 🤍

My brain during workouts is either:
“count your reps”
or
“what if we completely reinvented our entire life?” 😅

Somewhere between sets I’ve: started businesses, planned trips, solved fake arguments, decided to learn Japanese, considered baking sourdough again, and had at least 3 world-changing ideas

Honestly though, movement really does help clear your head and organize thoughts.

Apparently exercise is good for mental health 😂

Business owners:
“I could never work a 9–5.”

Me:
working 132 hours whenever I want 😅

Honestly though, I really do love the flexibility.

Being able to structure my schedule around homeschooling, clients, workouts, family, travel, church, and the random chaos of life is something I’m really grateful for.

But it’s also a grind behind the scenes sometimes.

Programming workouts, check-ins, content, emails, calls, learning, planning, editing reels with 3 views 😂

So genuinely… thank you to every client, follower, and person who supports what I’m building here. It means more than you know 🤍

Next time you want to crash out and die, remember God told Elijah to eat some food and take a nap first 😅

Honestly… relatable.

Sometimes we’re convinced we’re failing spiritually, mentally, or emotionally when in reality we’re:
overstimulated, underfed, under slept, overworked
and running purely on cortisol and iced coffee.

Not every problem can be solved with a snack and a nap…

But some things definitely get less dramatic after basic human maintenance 😂

I’m actually a really chill person if I’ve worked out for 2 hours, eaten enough carbs, and it’s sunny and 75 😅

But honestly… movement really does help my brain.

Strength training gives my mind somewhere to focus, helps burn off stress energy, improves my mood, and makes me feel way more regulated and steady overall.

And as someone with a very busy brain, adequate carbs + movement + sunlight is a surprisingly powerful combination 😂

This is also why I coach the way I do.

Not just for aesthetics or weight loss only, but because taking care of your body can genuinely improve how you function, think, cope, and show up in everyday life.

Sometimes the workout is the mental health walk.

Nerdy nutrition coach time 🤓

I heard the blue light glasses make you 10% smarter so let’s talk about GLP-1s for a second 😅

Here’s my honest take as a coach:

GLP medications can help some people. For certain individuals they improve appetite regulation, blood sugar control, food noise, and can be a really helpful tool when used appropriately with a medical provider.

But they are not magic.

Some people still struggle with side effects, low energy, muscle loss, GI issues, rebound weight gain after stopping, or not losing as much weight as they expected.

And whether your goal is to get leaner, improve your health, feel stronger, get totally jacked, or simply have more energy for life… the basics still work.

1 - Strength training 💪🏻
2 - High protein nutrition 🍳
3 - Daily activity and movement 🚶🏻‍♀️
4 - Sleep and nervous system regulation 😴

Those things are still the foundation.

So if you can’t afford GLPs, don’t want to use them, or aren’t sure if they’re right for you, don’t feel discouraged or left behind. You are not doomed without them.

And if you do use them, I strongly encourage doing it alongside regular check-ins with your provider, blood work when appropriate, resistance training to preserve muscle mass, adequate protein intake, and learning sustainable habits that support your long-term health.

The basics are sometimes slower… but they continue to work over and over again and are time tested!

I’m not saying ignore your responsibilities. Most of us have jobs, kids, businesses, family, and plenty of people who need us.

But those emails will still be there in an hour.

One of the best things I’ve learned is that if I don’t intentionally block out time for my workout, something else will happily fill that space.

Interestingly, research has found that texting and using your phone during exercise can reduce workout intensity and performance, likely because of the distraction factor. In one study, smartphone use before and during training was associated with lower training volume and increased mental fatigue. (PubMed)

For me, training is one of the few places where I can put everything else down for a little while and focus on one thing.

The emails can wait.

The workout is part of how I show up better for everything else.

Anyone else working on flipping the script? Instead of constantly picking apart how your body looks or comparing yourself to what you used to lift, what if you started noticing how far you’ve actually come? What if you were proud of the strength you’ve built, the consistency you’ve maintained through different seasons, and the fact that you keep showing up even when life gets hard?

There will always be someone stronger, faster, leaner, or further ahead. But they are not living your life, carrying your responsibilities, or walking through your story. Your progress does not become less meaningful just because someone else can lift more weight.

You are building your own story, and that matters 🤍
