t-cross horses, and I am an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe from Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Honoring my heritage, preserving ranch life, and celebrating the role of women in agriculture are at the heart of what I do. My personal journey has been one of transformation - I lost over 100 pounds and have kept it off for nearly two years. That experience fueled my passion for helping other women step into their best selves. As a certified health coach, I now guide women toward healthier, happier, and more confident lives through sustainable habits and mindset shifts. The Native Cowgirl is more than just a brand - it’s a lifestyle rooted in grit, growth, and gratitude. Whether I’m sharing the daily rhythms of ranch life, health tips, or motivational stories, my mission is to empower and uplift women everywhere. Today, I’m celebrating rain.

Not just because it’s beautiful, although it is. Not just because it brings rainbows, although that’s a blessing too.

I’m celebrating because out here in Montana, rain is life.

As ranchers, we watch the skies differently. We understand the value of every drop that falls. Rain means grass for our horses and cattle. It means healthier pastures, replenished stock water, and hope for the seasons ahead.

Living close to the land teaches you gratitude. It reminds you that there are things far greater than ourselves and that some of life’s most precious gifts arrive from above.

Today, as I watch the rain move across the prairie and the rainbow stretch across the horizon, my heart is full.

Thankful for this land.
Thankful for this life.
Thankful for the rain.

Today we remember.

Memorial Day is not just about flags, barbecues, or a long weekend. It is about the brave souls who laid down their lives so the rest of us could live free. It is about sacrifice, courage, and love of country.

As I look across this land I love so deeply, I’m reminded that freedom has always come at a cost. Generations of warriors, soldiers, cowboys, ranchers, and families have carried the weight of protecting this nation and preserving the values we hold dear.

Today I honor the fallen.
I pray for the families left behind.
And I give thanks for the freedoms we often take for granted.

Never forget.🇺🇸

Not every day will be sunshine and rainbows.

Some days will test you.
Some days will stretch you.
Some days will feel heavy.

But even then…find the joy.

Find it in the sunrise.
Find it in the horses nickering at the gate.
Find it in your children’s laughter.
Find it in the small victories.
Find it in simply waking up and trying again.

The world needs your light.
So shine bright anyway.

Even on cloudy days…the sun is still there. ☀️

Trying new things can be terrifying. Your mind will tell you all the reasons why you shouldn’t. What if you fail? What if you look foolish? What if it’s hard?

But what if it changes your life?

Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone. Sometimes the greatest thing you can do for yourself is take the leap anyway. Be brave enough to start before you feel ready. Courage isn’t the absence of fear…it’s moving forward despite it.

You never know what doors may open, what strength you may discover, or who you may become simply because you decided to try.

Do it scared.
Do it imperfectly.
Just do it.

The life you want is often waiting on the other side of fear.

“She wasn’t born herself
she found herself
over a long
and treacherous road
and the more treacherous
the road became
the more of herself
she found.”
~ Atticus

Here’s to all the mamas out there…the women carrying worlds on their shoulders while still reaching for the stars.✨

Never give up on your dreams. Never quit just because the road is longer or harder than you imagined. Growth is rarely comfortable, and becoming who you were meant to be often comes through the hardest seasons of life.

But mama…never forget how strong you truly are!

Always remember who is watching you. Little eyes learn more from our actions than our words. The way you love, fight, heal, persevere, and rise again matters more than you know.

There is so much power in motherhood. The hand that rocks the cradle truly does shape the future. Walk in that power with grace, courage, wisdom, and determination. Own who you are…and never stop finding yourself along the way.

In my opinion, “Mom” will always be the most important title I ever hold.

I owe so much to my own mother. She probably doesn’t fully realize the impact she had on me, but she shaped who I am in countless ways. She didn’t teach me through speeches…she taught me through the way she lived. Through her strength. Her resilience. Her example.

I will forever be grateful to have been raised by a strong woman who showed me what it meant to love deeply, work hard, and keep going no matter what.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mom and to all the mothers out there. May you always remember how incredible, powerful, and deeply needed you truly are.❤️

Out here…nothing worth having comes easy.

The wind will test you.
The ground will feel uneven.
There will be days you question everything.

But that doesn’t mean you stop.

Going after your goals takes courage…
the kind that shows up even when you’re tired, even when it’s hard, even when no one is clapping for you.

It takes perseverance…
choosing to keep going when it would be easier to quit.

Because the truth is…
it’s not supposed to be easy.

Growth will stretch you.
Change will challenge you.
And the path won’t always be clear.

But it will be worth it.

Every early morning.
Every setback.
Every time you chose to rise instead of run.

Stay the course.
Trust the process.
And don’t you dare give up on the life you know you’re meant to live.

Winner! Winner!! ✨

Thank you to everyone who voted and shared feedback. I appreciate you more than you know. This new logo is a blend of the top two choices…and I personally think it’s a winner!

I’ve been a certified health coach for almost 7 years, and I’ve had a couple of logos along the way. But this one feels different. This one feels like it’s going to stand the test of time.

As a health coach, I help women simplify their health, fuel their bodies with real food, build sustainable habits, and create a lifestyle they actually enjoy. I specialize in intermittent fasting, mindset, and helping women break free from the all-or-nothing cycle so they can feel strong, confident, and in control again.

This work isn’t just what I do…it’s what I love. There is nothing better than watching a woman step into the best version of herself.

If you’ve been thinking about making a change…this might be your sign. I would love to walk alongside you on your journey.💓

What if you did what you’ve always wanted to do…

Not someday.
Not when everything lines up perfectly.
Not when the fear disappears.

But now.

What if you trusted that quiet pull in your heart…
the one that keeps whispering there’s more for you?

What if you stopped overthinking
and started believing?

Faith doesn’t mean you have it all figured out.
It means you take the step anyway.

Out here, in the wide open, I’ve learned something…
the path doesn’t show itself all at once.
It reveals itself one step at a time.

So maybe today isn’t about having the whole plan.
Maybe it’s just about having enough faith to begin.

Do the thing.
Take the step.
Trust the journey.

You were never meant to stay where you are.
