This weekend, Iowa Soccer was honored to host the North Central Presidents Cup, welcoming teams and officials from across the region.
Throughout the tournament, many referees wore blue in memory of Terry Vaughn—a respected official, mentor, and leader whose impact on the Iowa soccer community is immeasurable.
From officiating over 280 MLS matches and international competitions to founding the Iowa Referee Academy (now the Terry Vaughn Academy), Terry dedicated his life to developing referees and growing the game.
His legacy lives on in every official he mentored, every match he influenced, and every referee who continues to serve the game with the passion and professionalism he exemplified.
