Went up to Southern Oregon Outlaw Karts for the first time and had an absolute blast... the kids did great, Emmery snagged a heat race win and finished 3rd in the A-main.
This track definitely has potential, the new crew is working hard to get the facility whipped into shape, track prep was on point! We'll be back 💪! Great work Devon!

Sometimes your kids just make you extremely proud.
Night 1 of the SRT challenge at Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca was one of those times.

As we build our not book for the new NPK Nevin's Precision Karts chassis we are working to find speed any where we can. Working for hundredths of a second.

Last night we did multiple gear changes, worked on chassis setup, and even air/fuel tuning.

With a less than desirable racing surface, both kids had their work cut out for them. It was rough in spots and slick in others, with a car that would push the front end on entry alex found a way to finesse the steering wheel to make it work until we could address the problems one at a time.

Emmery too, she told me exactly what the car needed each time she came off and we chased it until it felt right. And the results show we nailed it as she finished within the top 10 fastest box stock drivers in the west!

At one point in the A main alex cought a break when a red flag came out and we were allowed to pit our cars while they cleaned up the wreckage. When I got to him he was beat, tired , sweating and heart racing with arm cramps from being hot on the wheel. But he had no intentions on giving in. We made a quick rear axel adjustment and they blew the horn. After one hard final push to the checkers alex finished 10th, his 3rd top 10 finish in the 250cc class.

Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca Points race 5 re-cap for Emmery Duvall boxstock 12E

It was a simple night for us, out of the gate we were slow. Dad threw on the wrong size rear gear and emmery couldn't get the rpm up. So p17 in quals.

After a quick gear change and subtle chassis adjustment Emmery started last (p6) in her heat race and was able to catch and pass 2 cars and hold them off but the increased speed started pushing the front end on entry.
- She finished p4 in the heat.

Dad made a major chassis adjustment and told Emmery to shoot for the moon.
Starting near the back of the A-main Emmery avoided several collisions and worked through traffic to put her car in the p10 spot 💪 🏁
Making nearly 30 top 10 finishes in just over her first year of racing.

We want to give a special shout out to McClarren Ranch & Pet Supply for supplying Emmery with this season's power plant. Thank you for your continued support in helping the kids achieve their goals 🙌
