Cars are loaded,and we are ready for dirt church🏁 ⛪️ 🏁.
Day 1 of the 2 day ED BROWN Classic at Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca. This Saturday and Sunday!
Alex is stoked to be back in the seat! Hes coming in a little under powered with a bone stock engine, but happy to be putting in the laps. Emmery is looking for another good push through the field 💪 in search of that first feature win at her home track.

I Spent 2 days building a custom wiring harness for alexs new power plant, (2023 yz250f) so we can mount the ECU and other electronics inside the dash, and i think it paid off. 👌

Racing Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca will humble your program quickly. Only the best can make it look easy.
After a rocky heat race she started 11th in the A main ...A good clean start got emmery a good running spot (up to 6th place), but when the clutch began getting hot she started loosing ground quickly. she hung on to everything she had, banging the engine on the rev limiter just to keep up momentum...unfortunately it wasn't enough to stay in the fight.
After hours we bought some new clutch plates and this morning we are going to rebuild the clutch and give the 2nd half of this event everything we've got!

After a few months off we Decided to hit Southern Oregon Outlaw Karts for the evening since we were in the area....Emmery decided to go QUICK TIME!! 😆 small turn out, but it made her feel good lol

If anyone is looking for a sub driver at Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca tomorrow 8-1-2026 for box stock
Emmery will be hanging out around the track with Bubba and grandma.
Dad is currently on a 2 day R&R before going back out for a 21 day deployment but sis is looking to strap in if anyone needs a driver.

Sorry for the lack of racing related posts these past few months. As the summer wears on I spend more and more time away from home and away from the kids as I get deployed to wildfires all over the west coast.
I hate not being there, but there's a job to be done and I know how to do it.
We will be back in the karts as soon as we can be.
