Berlin’s 6th grade boys travel basketball team finished this season with a 20-2 record, getting them a 3 seed in the league championship tournament. They went on to beat the #2 seed in the semifinals, then the #1 seed in the championship game, to become the 6th grade league champions. Congrats on a great season boys - the sky is the limit with this team!

The 7th grade girls team finished an undefeated league season (30-4 overall record) with a 41-31 victory over Farmington in the league championship game on Sunday 3/8 at Avon High School. Berlin trailed by 7 points with 1 minute left in the 3rd quarter and finished the game on a 17-0 run. It was a true team effort not only in this game but all season. The team has won back to back league championships. Congratulations on another great season!

Many members of the Berlin 8th grade boys basketball team started playing together in 4th grade in 2021, putting in 151 practices, battling through 141 games, and finishing with 80 wins and 61 losses.
Over these years we have watched these boys grow—not just as basketball players, but as young men.
They learned how to compete, how to handle Wins, how to handle Losses, and how to support each other no matter what the scoreboard said.
What makes us proud isn’t just the 80 wins. It’s the effort these young men gave in every practice and every game.
You showed up.
You worked hard.
And you played for each other!

The 8th grade girls basketball team recently ended their successful four year run as a travel basketball team. On March 10th we celebrated our 8th grade girls team at our end of season banquet. Over their four years as a travel team they won 75% of their games and won multiple tournaments. While they ultimately never won the league championship they were shooting for, they were right there in the hunt every year. The last two years they finished 2nd in the regular season in a highly competitive league. Last year they lost in the final minute of league championship game. This year they lost in final minute of league semi-final game to the eventual champion. The girls have been great role models for our younger teams and set a great example for them to follow. The future is very bright for all of them. Thank you for all your contributions to Berlin travel basketball, and congratulations on all your success over the years. BBA wishes you all the best in high school.
